Very thought provoking too. Anyway I've played the female one a couple times, each time I'm really aggressive and dishonest. Can't help it. So far I've died from drinking poison, getting run off a bridge by a madman, and things like that. Only gotten married once to a male stripper and had a child. Died from a heart attack in that one.

Very amusing game, way ahead of its time, Sims is the dumber down flashy version of this.

Chose a female, but never maanged to get amrried as she was not so trustworthy somehow. I've done more untrustworthy things than my char did and I'm quite trustworthy.

No I've managed to escape even after talking to the guy. And even when I get in the car I still manage to escape because he gets found and stopped by the police because of a broken headlight.

Anyway the game is fairly sexist you should see the difference between the male and female. As a male its perfectly fine to be aggressive, but not as a female. As a female being sexually aggressive turns guys off but apparently if you do it as a guy you'll get laid. As a woman I got wild and stoned at a party and looked for a good time but it didn't work. But as a guy I got laid. Seriously sexist.

It engrossed me to no end when I discovered it. During college, I downloaded it at 5pm and didn't stop until like 2am when I finally died. The ending was sad but happy. :cry:

What they oughta do is do a remake in 3D that has options to live in different eras in history and/or live through the lives of a family line as the world changes and the characters change ages. Simplified of course.

There's a certain event where some guy cuts you off. You have to react agressively and attempt to push him off the road. He turns out to be a madman and has a gun. If you stop your car he shoots you to death, and if you keep driving he pushes you off the road and you die.

Hell once I managed to die by overdosing on too many drugs. You need to set your mood at suicidal and say that you intend to get wasted and you die of blood poisining and liver failure.

Hmm, I played a quiet guy who grew up as a bit of a loner musician, fell in love with a girl he met at the Senior Prom, and married her. Raised a family of four, became a successful music producer, tried to keep fit and healthy into old age.

Cause of death? Heart attack after too much strenuous exercise. :p

One thing I'm trying to figure out, can you have abusive parents? I've tried a couple of times but it seems like it assumes your parents are decent people. Which is far from the case for too many people in rl.

I've tried that too by being a hateful annoying brat, but all I got was a spanking at most. And the later family relations are bad but that's it.

I tried it out, pretty fun. First time I played, I was a pretty good person, but I got left at the altar and I died playing softball as an oldie. I died happy.

Same, after that though things went well, got wealthy, married the 2nd highschool boyfriend, had a son who in turn later married, died on the way into a shopping center at a ripe old age.

I got kidnapped by some people pretending to be police, and got shot by them. Not that I wanted to- I actually wanted to play a full game.

Oh, the car? Yeah, I just ran away. One time I tried it just to see what happened and he killed me and put me in a landfill so my body was never found. :(
