Loving 0.40 so far, except that I can't load any scenarios.



I wait one turn, then try to load a scenario: CTD.

Even after a hundred turns, still the same CTD.

I've tried this with all the possible scenarios initially available, using both patch "d" and patch "e".

I have the same problem - it's so frustrating!

Same thing under patch f. I'm using Vista, in case that helps.

I've found that if you start a random game as a specific leader instead of a ''random leader'' then you don't get CtDs when you load a scenario.

Getting the same problem here, loading a scenario or loading a saved game outside main menu crashes the game. Do everyone here have BTS 3.17?

And if that doesn't work, you can try to start a scenario by running the scenario file directly (they are located under Assets\XML\Scenarios), but be sure to only start scenarios that are "Locked Up" only so you don't break any event chains and so on.

Edit: And know you can also download the latest patch. It does present a little easier way of starting a scenario.
