Here's where you can buy all your eating needs!! no lowsy stuff to get in your way, just your basic, simple, life nurushing substenance (sp?) ! some stuff we don't have, some we do, just ask!
PS a percentage of the money goes back to the farmers and good people that produce these fine products:
Since I needed to divide the gold piece, I made this (hope it's ok with you all fine patrons):
1 gp = 4 silver pieces (sp)
1sp = 25 copper pieces (cp)
1 cp = the lowest denominational coin (not unlike the U.S. penny)

*Fruits:
Fruits are 3 times more expensive in cities that don’t produce them beacuse it needs to be exported to those cities. The price of fruit goes down by ½ after the discovery of the railroad and it’s the same price on all cities there after. It goes down by another half after the discovery of electricity.

Meat costs 6 times more in cities whithout the cow tile. Prices go down by ½ after the discovery of electricity and the railroad and it’s the same price in all cities.
Only cities with the cow in their radius can produce meat.

The price of sea food and caviar goes up 4 times after the discovery of enviromentalism.
Fish – only cities with fish in their tile radius. 5 gp
sea food (not including fish) only shrimp, mollusks, etc– every city with a harbor 7 gp
Caviar – cities next to a coast and a river (it comes from salmon right? they put their eggs in rivers, so I just figured this, am I right or wrong?) 50 gp
Other
Depends on the climate and special tiles within the city
maguey plants (hills) – to make tequila! 10 gp per gallon of tequila
*spices –we need them to cook. 80 gp (prices go down by ½ after free artistry. Down again by ½ after railroad)
‘wines – we need grapes to produce them. 20 gp
‘beer – doesn’t come from grapes, it comes from malt 5gp
weed – Asphinxia allowed mind altering drugs, why not Bavaria? 2 gp
*sugar – needs a warm, humid climate, so only those cities with jungles and/or next to the coast can produce sugar canes. 20 gp. Price goes down by ½ after railroad, down again by another ½ after electricity.
Manufactured products like cookies, sodas and the sort can be produced by every city. Just as long as they have a factory and are connected to the capital.
