D'Artagnan59 Jan 06, 2009, 07:05 PM Ugh. My dad is quite possibly the most disgusting man I know. I walk into the bathroom? What do I see? My dad didn't flush the toilet. Normally, he doesn't flush when he pisses (it's still disgusting), but HE TOOK A DUMP AND DIDN'T FLUSH IT. Dear God, why not just take a crap right in front of me. JUST BECAUSE YOU CLOG THE DAMN TOILET DOES NOT MEAN IT IS AN INSTANT EXCUSE TO NOT FLUSH IT. YOU FLUSH DOWN YOUR CRAP, WHETHER IT'S CLOGGED OR NOT. IF IT'S CLOGGED, GRAB A DAMN PLUNGER AND UNCLOG IT. It's as simple as that. If it's clogged, plunge it and flush again. Why? DAD, NOBODY WANTS TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU DO NUMBER TWO. NOT EVEN YOUR FAMILY. I mean, pissing without flushing is disgusting (unless there's some place where you can't SEE the piss), but this is just beyond disgusting. Taking a crap and LEAVING IT THERE is just wrong. Rant/Cons: For $90-100 USD, I got very detailed, but very few plastic figures. And many ships smaller than battleship are easily confused with one another. In-game currency is only one-sided and despite adding two new nations, the amount stayed the same compared to the older Revised Edition. There are way too many dice, I think there are like 12. We also never got an included bag to hold all the necessary chits (Cardboard pieces) that are needed for research, territory, etc. Finally, the board is huge as hell, about 1/3 the size of my TV (A New Sony Flatscreen, I think 48'? Also, the worst part of my school's scheduling: If the block day is a snow day, WE HAVE TO MAKE THE BLOCK DAY UP ON FRIDAY. Pray for me, if you aren't atheist, I'm going to be sick. silver 2039 Jan 12, 2009, 07:27 AM Dude how many siblings do you have? Are you Mormon? For my rant: My mom read some article about mouthwash causing oral cancer and freaked out about it and sent me frantic messages to stop using mouthwash. Why do people believe everything they read in the papers? Just about everything causes cancer weather its cell phones, microwaves, ciggrates or whatnot. So no I will not stop. In fact I shall use mouthwash even more frequently now. Eran of Arcadia Jan 12, 2009, 07:34 AM Dude how many siblings do you have? Are you Mormon? Hey! Them's fightin' words! How dare you thus impugn his honor! (Also: 5 siblings that he mentioned. 6 kids is not that unusual . . . ) Firestorm94 Jan 12, 2009, 07:35 AM Dude how many siblings do you have? Are you Mormon? shut up, I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters. If you have a problem with that, keep it to yourself. I'm taking enough sh*t as it is. Eran of Arcadia Jan 12, 2009, 07:36 AM Ah, I guess "youngest sister" and "baby sister" are synonymous . . . silver 2039 Jan 12, 2009, 07:37 AM Hey! Them's fightin' words! How dare you thus impugn his honor! (Also: 5 siblings that he mentioned. 6 kids is not that unusual . . . ) I've never known anyone who had more than two kids. Five or six kids seems massive. Imagine the laundry and grocery and drama. I thought maybe he was one of those Mormon fellows with 20 kids. shut up, I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters. If you have a problem with that, keep it to yourself. I'm taking enough sh*t as it is. It was just a question stop PMSing. Firestorm94 Jan 12, 2009, 07:39 AM Ah, I guess "youngest sister" and "baby sister" are synonymous . . . yeah, sorry, i couldn't be more specific, it took me forever to type while holding her. Eran of Arcadia Jan 12, 2009, 07:41 AM I've never known anyone who had more than two kids. Do they not have large families in India? Five or six kids seems massive. Imagine the laundry and grocery and drama. It doesn't seem that big from the inside. And the older kids can be made to do a lot of the chores, including watching the younger kids (as firestorm indicated he is doing at this very moment). silver 2039 Jan 12, 2009, 07:45 AM Do they not have large families in India? What do you think I am? I only move in high class circles. Maybe the peasants have 100 kids, but everyone, every single person I knew was either an only child, or had one sibling tops. It doesn't seem that big from the inside. And the older kids can be made to do a lot of the chores, including watching the younger kids (as firestorm indicated he is doing at this very moment). How are the costs dealt with? I remember hearing that raising one kid to adulthood costs roughly $150,000. So five or six could you would be up to a million. And then there's college. Eran of Arcadia Jan 12, 2009, 09:39 AM A lot of that expense is fixed and doesn't have to be incurred each time with each subsequent child. Also, a lot of colleges do have financial aid. choxorn Jan 12, 2009, 12:32 PM I've never known anyone who had more than two kids. You've never known about Sarah Palin? I've known plenty my age where the families have 3 kids, and both of my parents have 3 siblings (and tell me that, in their days, lots of people had 4 kids). So no, it's not that uncommon, here at least. Mirc Jan 12, 2009, 02:33 PM Last night I was either amazingly stupid, which really didn't seem to me at the time, or extremely unlucky. Unbelievably unlucky, actually. Well, it's definitely not a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity so I should go on with my life. Phlegmak Jan 12, 2009, 02:42 PM i'm torn weather i should care if anyone noticed i was gone or not...and angry at myself no matter the answer, lol In online communities, generally, nobody notices when you leave. Well to be fair, I didn't notice Mowque was gone, but when I was happy he came back. choxorn Jan 12, 2009, 03:20 PM Last night I was either amazingly stupid, which really didn't seem to me at the time, or extremely unlucky. D'Artagnan59 Jan 12, 2009, 06:28 PM Still haven't fired my bus driver after she's gotten worse and worse. For ansar's bus driver, complaints don't help. For mine, they make her even worse. Even when her ass could be in the biggest trouble it could be, she still manages to get us to school late. She arrived at the bus stop at 7 today, even after my mom finally complained. We ended up missing half of first period. And another thing, ansar: your bus driver has struck fear into my heart about when mine gets old. jeps Jan 12, 2009, 07:06 PM my grandfather was one of 12 kids until he became one of 2 kids. also, its this crazy thing called...reusing. hand-me-down's. not every shirt one wears must be new. i had some of my older brothers things growing up. Virote_Considon Jan 13, 2009, 05:51 AM  So, after months and months of the JobCentre constantly reassuring me that, so long as I do under 16 hours a week, going to college will not affect my dole... And now, they're (most probably) going to completely cut off my dole due to college, although I have to wait god knows how long for them to make this decision! Mowque Jan 13, 2009, 07:50 AM well seeing as your from GB, i feel sorry for you. No money sucks Trajan12 Jan 13, 2009, 09:48 AM Service at McDonald's is so slow this morning. When I finally got to make my order(a Latte, which by the way was awful), they took about 10 minutes just to get it to me. Then I was so late to school I just stayed home anyway. salty mud Jan 13, 2009, 09:51 AM Service at McDonald's is so slow this morning.
