Hey there, i recently tried to play a lan game with a mate using the spectacular GEM mod.. your mod makes no objections in going to multiplayer or even setting up a game, but no matter which player sets it up, it is not possible for the other to see it. this sounds like a connection problem i know, however we tried a few different games afterwards and civ maps, all working fine..

Have you make sure everyone has the same CIV installation, same patch, same version of GEM etc?

I have the same problem as warhead66. Me and my girlfriend play CivIV on LAN all the time without problems, but I just can't get GEM to work...:confused:

And yes we have the same CIV installation, same patch and same version of GEM.

i am having the same problem as above! and its a great map for multiplayer i found it works on hotseat and PBE but on IP it times out and online i cannot see games nor can anyone see mine :cry: halp
