I tried loading up the mod and 2 things happened:
1>The mod launcher doesnt work, it loads normal BTS. I have to load the mod from the Advanced->Load a mod.

2> When I loaded it up, I got these two major errors:
Assert Failed: Civ4BeyondSword.exe
Assert Failed
File: .\CvXMLLoadUtility.cpp
Line:1545
Expression:bSuccess
Message:

along with the following (it has the same header, beyondsword.exe

Assert Failed
File: .CvGlobals.cpp
Line:4861
Expression: strcmp(szType,"None")==0||strcmp(szType"")==0
Message: info type TECH_ENGINEERING not found, Current XML file is: xml\Misc/Civ4RouteInfos.xml.

when I continued I got more of these errors (along with normal xml errors) and I ended the program. If it is needed I have no problems playing civ before, my computer is working fine. I am running BTS patch 3.17 and my OS is 32 bit windows XP, also fully patched.

the mod isnt ready yet so these errors are known about and will be dealt with. Thanks for letting us know :)

I have no knowledge of C++. Is the mod 'playable'? I mean that in the loosest sense of the word, basicly being able to look at the pedia.

actually as of the most recent build, I don't think it is. Some of the most recent merging seems to be preventing me from loading a game as I could before, to view the tech tree, civiliopedia, etc.

I will look in to fixing that asap if you need it, and I'll let you know when you can load a game.

It would be nice if there was a 'pedia stable' mod. It might attract alot more people if there was something to look at.
