I may be new to this, but i have played civ3 since it came out and have watched about 3/4 of the civ3 demo game. I think that if we are to survive we need MONEY. Therefore, this guild hopes to promote commerce in Fanatika, by makeing money, and by engaging in worthwhile trade agreements. THIS IS A DISCUSIION THREAD!!!

i think we're already merged though, as an exchange is usually affiliated w/a bank. But it's important we have are independant, since out business is so different from urs.

I call for a discussion on our views of "conservatism" - Our great website states this as one of our goals. I find it necessary that we at least discuss the boundries of this goal - to find a clearer/more precise definition - and perhaps attract more membership.

what did u have in mind.

Money is the driving force in civilization. Concentrating on making m oney would not only give us the ability to build a great democratic army, but in times of need to rush great projects (unless were in despot). Besides, we cannot help the people unless we have money.

Ok. A little interpretation of what you are saying:

Money is key. We need steady economic growth.
Also we need an army to ensure a stable economy.

My guess then - on our views on conservatism:
We must choose reforms rather than revolution, and of course keep an eye on governmental expenses (Pardon my french)

okay, seeing as were getting closer to the birth of Fanatika, i think we need to discuss what we can do @ the start of the game to help us to make the most amountr of money possible. I'm thinking of making a proposal to the trade department on what we think would best our nation economicaly.

seeing as we're a reasonably large organization, we should be able to voice our opinions straight the the trade and the domestic departments. After we get a report, we should discuss what we can do to make fanatika richer.
