I didn't make this unit, but I saw there was an Apache and no Hind (Russian) counterpart, so I am posting this link on it...

I had a look at the unit, somewhere else. Looks cool. Maybe it could be modified as to its purpose. I wonder whether you can restrict a helicopter to land or water. I was going to have the MI-26 Hind as a naval helicopter and the Apache as a land helicopter. Something to look into I suppose.

Hmm, sb was making a Hind in the customization section (BTW- the correct designation is
'MI-24' !! ).. I am waiting for the new one coz the preview was truelly awesome.

I wish i could take the credit for the image I posted, but it was just a 360 degree animation I found on another site; I could probably do some thing on the same standard but it would tanke a while.

In fact there were a few animations on that site, Perhaps I could get them together an see what one people want done....

Sorry about the designation mistake you're right W.I.N.T.E.R. it is an MI-24 Hind. Thanks anyway, Smoking Mirror. If I had of known whose it was I would have given them credit but I didn't so I made it general.

Yep I stand corrected it IS MI-24 Hind...

Be nice to have as much variety in fighters and helos as I have seen in foot units and tanks in these forums.

Be cool to have, like MI-8Hip to be the Soviet counterpart to the civs' regular Helo wich looks like a Chinook.

KA-50 Hokum, MI-28 Havoc for Russia and a RAH-66-Comache? (Is it?) and an AH-1S Cobra for USA. (Cobras are used by several Armies around the world) so it would seem reasonable to have one.

Maybe throw in an Eurocopter for flavoring on the European side.
