How do you add new art splashes to the main menu? A new background in the Civ3 menu? And how do you change the text color so it doesnt blend in the background?

edit or replace the title.pcx in the ..\Civilization III\Art folder, I don't think you can change the text color but you can change the buttons (buttonsFINAL.pcx)

When I tried to add the new pic ans started the game the background was black. How do I get it to show up?

Did you save the graphic as a PCX, with only 256 colours?

Whoops did two posts (how stupid).

I finally got it in the game and made the length/width to fit the screen and when I went in I got this splochy missing palettes thing How do I smooth it out and look pretty?:rolleyes: (BTW im using Paint Shop Pro, I would like to know how to smooth it out with that).

Are those sploches the last color in the palette?
You probaly can't use the last color or colors.

You can fix it by editing the palette and changing a unused if any color to white or picking another white color and using the replace tool.
