OMG, it's all coming back to me now! I had completely forgotten about this dark aspect of NES. We could blow into the cartridge for up to half an hour hoping to get it to start. One time I remember that my friend tried use the vacum cleaner:lol:

To be honest, I can't remember. But this was the kind of friend that somehow always managed to destroy everything in his sight (there was talk about him having some kind of curse on him, since he never visited anyones house for more than three times before breaking anything:D ) so he probably damaged the game by doing it. But, as I said, I can't really remember, 'twas ages ago

The NES rules. By far, the best game system ever made! I have an emulator now, though I miss the old "joysticks" or whatever they were called.

All you had to do was buy one of those cheap cleaning packs.

But the colored cartridges (gold and silver) never ever worked for me. Anyones else ever have this problem?
