It's kinda bothersome to replay scenarios you've already played just because you want to try to play on the other side of it. It was okay with Fall of Cuantine, since that was pretty much streamlined, but replaying Into the Desert was a hassle, even with the worldbuilder. Would there be an easy solution to implement the option of choosing what side to play if you have already finished the respective scenarios? Maybe link it with the trophy system?
I heard about opening the files in the xml folder, but i never got it to work. Could someone explain how to proceed?

There are two WorldBuilder saves for each scenario, one labeled Calabim the other labeled Malakim. You can load them directly from:
C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Beyond the Sword\Mods\Fall from Heaven 2\Assets\XML\Scenarios
Just double click the appropriate save to start the scenario on either side. This way you don't have to play the previous scenarios over again.

Yeah, tried that. Said i had to choose a program to open the file with.

I cant load any scenarios. Even with the scenario scenario "Fall From Heaven II Scenarios" I'm about to try the bypass option, not sure if it'll work, btu I really wnat my progress (between the scearios) to be saved, it feels rewarding.
EDIT: whats the file for that again?
EDIT again: just realized this wasn't the into the desert thread, but one about it.
Final EDIT: found the file. Wish I could delete posts...
