I think that they nominated people should give a rundown of what they will do if elected (eg - attack all neighbouring civs).

I can say that I am in favor of an pretty agressive Expansion. Both militaristic AND by building Settlers.

Edit: Oh!..(a bit out of topic) I forgot to say that I share your tactics I usually make about 5 settlers in the cities closely situated to the capital(and in the capital) - other cities usually build 2 settlers

As a citizen I am happy to endorse Grey Fox for President. We've succession gamed together and I am perfectly confident in his ability to evaluate any situation and not neglect the smallest detail.
