This is a poll on which size of world we will use. This poll will close when the game is created. Discussion is here: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=30125

The 4 catagories are:

Large map
Huge map
Large map w/16 civs
Abstain

(This is my first poll, if I didn't do it right please don't shoot me! :goodjob: )

It looks very good, croxis. One thing you missed was registering it in the poll registry. You'll greatly increase poll participation by registering it.

I did this for you here (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=458905#post458905).

huge map gives more space to expand o build a bigger empire which means more jobs for people in mayorship roles and governer roles

One other thing. The game setup options already specify 16 civs so the 2 large options are the same.

Whoops. Sorry! I'll fix the poll.

The "large map w/16 civs" choice was removed as it was a duplicate of "large map".

To recap previous arguments (as best I recall)

Pro-huge:
More cities
Longer game
More potential options for participation

Anti-huge:
DP needs a powerful machine, possibly limiting candidates
Turns could take a long time to process, particularly late in the game, meaning long TCs

Did I miss anything? Btw, I'm voting for huge.

It is possible that some think this is a con. One advantage of the smaller game I find is the leadership races we're having now are much more fun than the uncontested ones.

I just love huge maps and with my vote we're winning at the moment.

Keep it smaller! Not all of us have Pentium 4 machines. Even for just viewing the last game on the large map, it took me a good few minutes to load the game.

I'm in the same boat as you, Octavian, and all I play is huge maps.
