Do you know what it was like back in 1850, 159 years ago?

California became a state.
The State had no electricity.
The State had no money.
Almost everyone spoke Spanish.
There were gunfights in the streets.

So basically, it was just like California today.

Except the women had real breasts and the men didn't hold hands.

Or at least Los Angeles. I could get by speaking only my native tongue.
Even in school.

Cocaine was available down at the local.

Hemp was not only legal - it was one of the most widely used materials.

Marijuana was also completely legal.

There was a bit like this on an Australian sketch show a while back. Guy wakes up from a coma to discover that Bert Newton and Darryl Somers are hosting tv shows - two old Australian entertainers - George Bush is President, we're at war with Iraq, and Batman is a hot film.
