View Full Version : Turn Session Schedule Cyc Feb 09, 2009, 10:03 AM Please post below the date and time (try to post in GMT and your local time both) of the Turn Session YOU will play. Post at least two days in advance. Cyc Mar 10, 2009, 01:02 AM As of today, UTC is the same time as GMT. That will change at the end of the month. But for now, the times listed in this post are correct. Changes will be updated. London is now GMT. GMT is currently the same as UTC. Therefore, Hartford, Connecticut is UTC minus 4 hours. Los Angeles, California is UTC minus 7 hours. Nijmegen, Netherlands is UTC plus 1 hour. Perth, Australia is UTC plus 9 hours DaveShack Mar 12, 2009, 12:32 PM Actually, GMT and UTC are the same thing, and do not change with daylight savings time. Citizens may find this world clock (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/) link useful. Furiey Mar 12, 2009, 03:11 PM Yep, GMT does not have daylight saving so for all intents and purposes GMT=UTC all year round. The UK does have daylight saving, when we change we go to BST=GMT+1. Cyc Mar 12, 2009, 05:25 PM Cool, thank you for that. I guess I associated Greenwich with Greenwich. Cyc Mar 14, 2009, 02:25 AM Creation Day TurnChat. Sunday at 1700 UTC. That's 5pm in England and 9am in California. #turnchat will be the location. Anyone who can log the chat will be greatly appreciated. See ya there. No Instructions needed as we will just be creating the game and saving. Be prepared to discuss our findings. Bowsling Mar 17, 2009, 08:37 AM When will the next turnchat be? Cyc Mar 17, 2009, 11:26 PM This Thursday, March 19th at 0300 UTC. That's 1900 hrs. in California. Cyc Mar 20, 2009, 07:38 PM This Sunday, March 22nd at 1600 UTC. That'll be 0900 in California. Noon in New York. Cyc Mar 25, 2009, 07:13 PM Today at 0100 UTC. That's about 45 minutes from now. DaveShack Apr 06, 2009, 02:03 AM Saturday April 4, 0900 Arizona (1600 UTC).
