Could I do that? I've read the rules about ten times, but I still miss where I should apply.
Do I need a brewery or could I brew my own beer (I could do that anyway)?

Hy shabbaman, i already opened one but closed soon. I will give the spot for you, as there are many thirsty people here now ;-)

Maybe buy the service of some attorneys to get you into business safely.

If i open up a brewery (yes, i maybe would like to brew some nice things in the rebel-brewery, like banana juice or riot-beer), would you buy them from me?

I think shabba should send his price list to the price manager (Whoever that is), and then this guy/lady decides whether it is ok and defines the startup and maintenance cost. The price manager and shabba will then have to post the transaction of the startup payment in the bank and the price manager accnowledges this. Shabba than only has to register in the official index and is up and running with that.

I just dont know in which form to whom we have to send the books of the businesses ;-)

Hmm, I thought that trader/warrior was price manager. The item manager and the price manager aren't the same deal, are they? I'm a bit confused...

Disorganizer, I tried to find your business, but I couldn't find it. It isn't in some back alley, is it;)
Anyway, riotbeer? Where do I sign up? I guess that I'm pretty much broke after initial investments, but if I manage to open a pub, and make a profit out of it, I'm sure I'll want to switch from my homebrewn beer to your riotbeer. So, if I'm loaded with cash, I could be an investor in your project.

If...then...else...

Allrighty then! I'm waiting for response from the price manager.

I got an idea of my advocate ;-)
I will reopen the pub as and you will be able to buy the beer at a resale price from me ;-)
Stay tuned, i keep you informed. We should of course locate our pubs in different cities ;-)

Ok. I contacted Apro, Poe & Nuffin. They will start up the business for me. They already have the customer and resale pricelists, so it wont be long till i can open up ;-)

It will be in a new thread though... Stay tuned!

We should discuss sharing the power of the pubs though... Maybe if we split our efforts up, we could easily conquer all drinkers in our nation.

I propose as soon as we get more cities, one pub in each city would be good. At least, we should have 1 pub per province. And only the appropriate residents of the city with the pub should be able to visit it (the others would have to actually travel there to visit the pub ;-).

Semms like an interesting concept... we should work on that one ;-)

I wonder how shipping cost will count onto the resource.
Say if i sell you a barrel of something and you have to transport it to your pub 10 tiles away, would that cost you more than if your pub would be 20 tiles away?

We could do a franchise thing.
It seems clear to me that it'd cost more to transport a barrel further away, not the other way round...:)
Maybe there should be standard RPG-transport fees.

Shabba:
I thought i just would sell you the barrels and you could then sell it in glasses to your customers. You will get a huge discount of course (i think i put up 50% from my own customer price here), so you could maybe even be cheaper than the original if you like ;-)

You will surely understand it better when the thread is opened... it will hold the resale prices (for other pubs) as well as the end-customer prices.

The only thing you would have to do is sell it under the same name of course...

Maybe you could even start up as a waiter in the "original" pub until we have enough cities/provinces for further pubs to exist? I will offer a 50% net-income (after tax) profit share, meaning that 50% of the net-income will be split among the waiters (or barkeepers). I thought about 2 of them in the beginning maybe, which could later open up own pubs in other areas ;-)
