Gary Childress Mar 01, 2009, 05:08 PM Tough choice but I think the mortar team has some nice extra touches to the animations, the hand slap, the guy tapping the other guy that he can uncover his ears. Nice attention to detail.
Balthasar Mar 01, 2009, 07:33 PM Y'know those Wyrmshadow units are just beautiful, and the Janissary has the most believable recoil on his weapon, but the animation of the mortar units is supreme. I have to go with the Aztecs. Great job Utahjazz!

Blue Monkey Mar 02, 2009, 07:37 PM This is one of those terrible months when everyone deserves a gold medal. What finally decided my vote was the complexity of the run animation of the Aztecs, especially the bobbing of the mortar.
Plotinus Mar 03, 2009, 02:26 AM The Aztec mortar isn't just beautifully animated, it's also splendidly designed, in my opinion. It looks like it could really have existed. So it gets my vote, although it seems that it doesn't really need it.
