I was thinking (as you do) about what I could mod for Civ III. Then it hit me: wouldn't it be cool if we had the advisors AS members of CFC? Of course, this would require the said members to allow me to use their face in making this and also they'd have to take pictures of themselves in the suitable emotions.
I'm not sure if this is a good idea, so please tell me what you think of it and whether you'd help.

Huh, that's a weird thought. Don't know if you would want to look at my ugly mug. Why don't people take their avatars and convert them. Then Plot's bust could help you decide whether or not to disband his lovely flavor workers. Although Hikaro would be a dead ringer for a science advisor. But still, it would get a little creepy.

I thought about that, but it wouldn't be as good for several reasons:
There just isn't the realism between having a random picture to having an actual human face.
Also, avatars change, faces don't (too much).

Well, the way I see it, I recognize some user's avatar's more than I would their faces. But, hey, it could be cool.

Seasons come and go but Plotinus', Stormrage's, and Civinator's, to name a few, avatars remain set in stone (w/ maybe a certain red and white hat now and again). I think most of us too would recognize ED's old avie and Rob's converted LH.

Most of my avatars have something to do with a blue monkey. I'd love someone to make a Hanuman unit someday. Maybe my current avatar (steampunk monkey) could be an industrial era LH for a monkey civ, or Rama's military advisor for the same era.

Hmm ... I knew your avatars always displayed monkeys, so I couldn't figure out why you had changed to a cow. But, now I see that it is, indeed, a monkey.

Thanks to the person who pm'd it to me - now unfortunately anonymous because I had to clear out my inbox for moderating purposes.

The black areas of the image behind the helmet—a blimp or zeppelin, maybe—was mistaken for a pair of ears. And, if those are ears, then the head looks rather deep, and I thought it was a cow's head.

But now, knowing that it's a monkey, it's harder to see the cow ... and before it was so obvious.
