Hi !

I have launch a discussion, on a french forum, about the Wonder Versailles. Its effects are too similar to the effects of the Forbidden Palace. We have discussed about many now possible effects for Versailles, and now we must decide. So, i launch a poll about it. If you are French, please, follow this link: Poll in French Version (http://www.civfr.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=199&t=19399), and don't vote at the two polls because the results will be aggregated.

Explications about the more complicated ideas:

-Centralization of the Great People points management: The GP points of all the player's cities would be assigned to the city where Versailles was built, and only to this city. It would enable the player to take advantage more efficiently of its GP points.

-Great People points management centralizable: Would allow the player to assign other cities' GP points to the city where Versailles was built, but only the ones produced by Wonders.

-Allows the player to redistribute the Great people points types among his cities: It would enable cities to trade GP points types. For example: Lyon trades 2 Artist points for 2 Engineer points with Paris. With this system, the player would be able to make his GP types less aleatory.

-Great People birth rate increased by the player's cultural budget rate: For example, the Great People birth rate (in all the player's cities) would be increased by 1% for each % of the budget dedicated to the culture. The effect would be made weaker on large maps.

centralisation of GP points.
How do you always come by original ideas ? (and implement them...)

I'm for the third - centralization of the gpp management - but with a little toning down if applicable. It consists of gathering the gpp in the versailles city of all the other (owned) cities except the three other largest. This way, you prevent a possible exploit from going full SE in all cities and then start a never ending golden age and ...
It will be also add deeper strategy in city planning across the empire.

Franco-International results:

On 33 votes:

-Centralization of the Great People points management : 27%
-Great People birth rate increased by the player's cultural budget rate : 21%
-Allows the player to choose the Great Peoples he obtain, between to possible choices max : 15%
etc...

I will create a second poll including this 3 features (which represent 63% of the votes).
