I've thought about a new game option.

As you all know, it is most of the time better to kill an enemy instead of accepting a capitulation. Why? Vassals often have bad technologies -> bad units.

To change this, I want, that vasalls get a research boost of X percent and that vassals get Y (up to all) technologies (which they don't have) for free from their new hegemon when they become a vassal.

Would be great, if the human player hegemon gets the message:

"Vassal Z has now a research boost of X% and received the following technologies: blablabla"

Anyone? :)

That really woulldn't be a good idea at all. The AI loves trading techs with each other so in no time at all your other rivals would have the techs your vassal got for free.
