View Full Version : 2 strange problems

Has anyone seen these two issues.
1. I was playing civarmy's American Continent Mod and when I right click on a city and click "Change Production" the game crashes and dumps to desktop.
This problem doesn't occur at the beginning of the game. Only after several cities have been built.
If you zoom in on a city and change production on the cue the problem doesn't happen.
This is the only mod I've ever seen this problem on.
I sent Civarmy a message ounce about it but never heard back.:confused:

2. The second issue happened playing the Reconquista scenario. After playing several turns I noticed a unit from another civ was in one of my cities. I could no longer enter this city and it would not let me attack him.
I read a post one time where this happened to someone else. As far as I know they never resolved the problem.

These are not major issues and they don't keep me up nights, but I just thought I'd check if anyone has experienced this.:crazyeye:

I think the first might be because there is too much too load or something and your comp can't take it so it goes back to your desktop

Possibly, but I find it strange that it only happens in that particular mod.
I have played many different large scenarios and It never happens anywhere else.:confused:

Maybe it could be that a units_32 is missing from a unit...

1) You should check the units_32 and perhaps the buildings_large and buildings_small files if they are correctly indexed.
one question is: did you modify the files? Has the same bug apeard to other players of thiese mods as well?
2) Victory Point location sometimes cause trouble with different nations units being in the same square at the same time (TCW '50s)
Also it could be something close to the 0 hp 0attack 0 defence bug, where a foreign unit can share a tile... but if that occours you should be able to enter the same sqaure.. anyway i think there will be no solution for this kind of bug so just an earlier reload might help you here...
