How strict are the protection goals? No forests cut down ever? or allow for some minor deforestation to free up some free land but leaving the larger forest pretty much intact?

Yes, good question by Falc. By wilderness, do you mean the outer fringes or the forests close to our cities? I am all for environmental protection at all costs, but we will need wood for certain projects, to include protection of our citizens.
