Hey, I just got BtS, so I'm wondering...
does anyone else seem to catch a foreign spy like once every three turns from the classical era on?
It seems like a rediculous amount of spies are sent over by the AI civs... I wonder if they're like roaches... how many am I not seeing?
Someone has poisoned the water in Pi-Ramses like 3 times now, it is getting a bit annoying

Focus EP on the likely culprit, throw a spy in cities that tend to get the missions.
I never find the AI espionage too oppressive. Let them waste resources on ineffective tactics.

yeah I caught two or three HR spies open-handed as well as a Korean one that I know of. I was amassing troops to go punish Charlemagne when Sitting Bull dragged me into a war with Alex. Alex is gone now, no thanks to SB's massive stacks of outdated units. I think I only lost maybe 6 arty and a few knights I didn't feel like upgrading in the whole conflict, so Cmagne is about to have a very bad century dealing with my three and four promotion infantry, marines, and arty.
I think I may have been on the right track. I had spies fortified in most of my major cities so I was probably catching most of the spies... I may have missed Pi-Ramses though, I'll have to go back and check. I built the security depot and intel agency there after the second time the water was spiked. The third time was just insulting.
