I am sorry for all the declined applicants, you all were good, but plexus had better qualifications in the end.

We held a short, informal ceremony today to mark the begining of the work to convert the Demigrand Hall into our place to have our services. The percentages (20% for each waiter, 12.5% for bookkeeping, rest for me) is applied to the net-income, being 80% of the income for normal items (in here, events and subscription) and 60% for the wholesale items.

Well, the early chat time is necessary when I'm running the show. There was a lot of initial complaining but things seem to have settled down a bit. I'd like to move to a split DP system with me and my VP alternating. I'd do an early morning Wednesday chat and he'd do an evening weekend chat. Things have to get a bit better prepared on the Forum side before I'll be comfortable doing that though.

Shabbaman- this loyal barkeep has been dutifully polishing glasses waiting for the next customer. I truly believe erosion is starting to set in(on the glasses).

gunning1- this is his show now and he should be rewarded for it.

disorganizer- this is his pub and it desrves to remain vital throughout the entire Demogame.

Fanatika- this pub is one of our nation's oldest institutions. Let us not misserve Fanatika by making it a memory.

Sister Eve: We are at War with the people of Japan? How did this happen. Oh, if only there was some way of being informed of the current events of Fanatika. In the Community, our President gives us regular updates in the events and decisions of importance of the Community. And The Lighthouse is distributed to all who would read it. Also a person called OlafS publishes a papyrus called The Lake which also tells the news of the day.

Brother Adam: Aye! If only there were such things in Fanatika. We have a much more developed economy and commerse system in Fanatika, but I fear that the workings of government and the news of important events is more of a mystery here.

We had no idea that Fanatika had access to a newspapyrus (other than our own, which would of course feature Fanatikan news if we knew where to get it from). This may seem a silly question, but why is the papyrus' title in a strange language?

Brother McNulty: DFZ has been available since the founding of Barvaria. Many of us have been subscribers. Also: are you a citizen of Fanatika yet?

Sister Eve: Both Brother Adam and myself have been registered as permenant residents of Fanatika ever since the leader of the Jedis invited us here all those years ago. We have taken part in life in this fair land for a long time, but have been regarded as outsiders, despite having the house and horse gifted to us and a regular stipend from the government. While some of the citizens of Fanatikan have taken us to their hearts, and even gone far beyond with their generousity and conversion to Spiritualism, both Brother Adam and myself still feel that we are not truly accepted by Fanatika. The fact that we never seem to be able to find out what is happening at any given time does seem to strengthen this feeling.

Brother Adam: Oh great. We came in the Tavern ready to celebrate the completion of the Mission, and now we are all sombre and acutely aware of our shortcomings.

We also have started some civil wars in fanatika. I for example recently captured some tiles to extend my principality...
And i sense more internal wars will come upon us.

Brother Adam: We are on a pilgrimage to visit as many places in Fanatika as we can. We wish to spread the word of the Spirits to the troubled areas of this land. We probably will not be back for a long time. Tell me, is there inns and Taverns in all the cities of Fanatika? I hear that there are branches of all the major shops and businesses in all the other cities.

Sister Eve: While we are away, it is likely that Brother Joseph will stop by from time to time. Do try to make him welcome, he has had a hard life and is in need of friendship. This tavern should not dissappoint him. We have always found it to be a friendly and welcoming place.
