View Full Version : Threshold confusion

Hi Guys!

I'm confused.. :)

I've got a question about the thresholds at which an AI declares war.
In the leaderheads referencesheet there are (amongst others) 2 thresholds: DeclareWar and DeclareWarThem.

How should I read these? For example, Isabella has her threshold 'DeclareWar' at Cautious and her threshold 'DeclareWarThem' at Pleased. Does this mean she'll declare at me @ pleased or have someone that is pleased with her convince her to attack someone else?

Thanks in advance for any reactions

I'm fairly sure that means Izzy will declare war on you on her own accord at Cautious. I'm also fairly sure that she can be bribed to declare war on someone else if the briber is at pleased with her.

I could be wrong though.

That makes sense. Thanks Razzlesnaff!

So if I keep myself pleased with Izzy, she'll never declare even if the briber is pleased with her?

I'm pretty sure that Isabella CAN declare war at Pleased. Like TheMeInTeam pointed out, it's possible but unlikely she'll declare war on someone she's pleased with, because she'll usually hate someone else even more (heathens !).

I think that you can bribe her to declare war on someone else if she's pleased with you and Cautious with your intended target. The whole reference guide (http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=6570) might be of some help, though I must admit I find kind of hard to read.
