I would do Foreign Affairs if no one else steps in. There are citizens though, that will fill those positions once they return from their absence. Zearo, Nobody and Ashburnham to name a few

What if they never do come back? We need people soon.

I think the time to get nominees needs to be longer, I definitely wouldn't mind being Defense or Foreign Minister, but I didn't even see anything about it until too late.
