Just wandering is there any plans to introduce them they were one of my favorite things about alpha centauri

How much have you played Planetfall already? In what ways have you searched for information on what's included in Planetfall?

I'm wondering how casual players look for information, so that you can find the answer to this question in Planetfall itself.

ive started several games of planetfall to get an idea of how the strategy wworks have not finshed one yet though and sometimes i look in the datalinks if im stuck but usually i try to figure it out as i go along

In any case sea bases are already included. You can build them with the sea colony pod which comes available with the Pressure Dome technology.

Come to think of it sea bases and sea improvements may not be obvious to people unfamiliar with SMAC...

I was worried about that they would have already been included when i started up this topic, it was just because they were not with the original technology that you get them with in smac

Yeah, even though there are lots of names the same as in SMAC, many have been moved around to different technologies.

There is only one thing about seabases in Planetfall I don't like - I never see the AI building them. That may also cause the impression that they aren't in, unless you especially look for them.
