When every I build the Guild of Hammers the game crashes on me. What are the dwarve's without their Smithies?

What version are you using? I believe Kael has stated that the Dwarven Smithy is among the buildings whose art he accidentally left our of 0.41, and when the game tries to create a building without having the art for it is causes an instant unexplained crash. This should be fixed in the next patch.
