i have decided to tell you now what is going on:eek:

The date
thursday 12 midnight- Sunday 12 midnight GMT (allows more people to be involved )

What Is happening

it is going to be a boost to the economy this means that during that time you will all be given money for them days to spend on what ever you like but you have to spend it during them days otherwise it becomes worthless. you can spend it on whatever you want in the rpg.

The Gold
everyone gets the same amount whether they be high ranking official or just a regular citizen
everyone gets 750 gold (shaitan thought 500 i thought 1000 so we cut it down the middle)

any questions? if so ask them

This is better, bclg. :)

Now they have something to criticize! :D

Anyway, what you're saying is, for that 72 hrs (?) everyone gets 750 gold to spend as they wish, as long as they spend it during that 72 hrs?

so its like that $600 the irs gave out. just sayin, only business owners get this gold if spent. its not being put into personal accounts, just that of the people who own businesses.
hmm.. i could throw a party, using this 750, caeter it w/ my own food and pocket the $$.

@bclg: The IRS (actually, the US government) gave out $600 rebates for exactly the same reason - to stimulate the economy.

Now there's a penguin that will go far!

I wonder if the new partnership will be afloat by then - sounds like a great time to buy a house! If we buy a house for 1000 gold we could use our 750 plus 250 we already have, right?

It's good that you let us know about this - now businesses can work up some specials. I may offer a good deal on long term subscriptions to my journal!

yes you can do that so you would only have to pay 250 gold but you could not get anything else for free

A house is an excellent idea! Then I won't have to sleep under the tables in the pub all the time...

One clarification

The items / services must be purchased from a player's shop. The plan is to stimulate the economy and that won't happen if all of the money goes to official RPG businesses.

Is the partnership considered a player's shop or an official RPG business?

how about this- a discount on housing prices during this 72hr period? it would do exactly what the US rebate (yes, here i go again) wanted to do- stimulate the economy realestate-wise. may i also suggest that furniture salespeople offer a sale during this period. let people buy homes and things to put in them.

Will this lead to/trigger off inflation? Need some RPG economists here! We have an unusual economy going on here!

Well I for one think this is a cool idea and people should be very ahamed of themsleves for critisising it when it was a big secret. Your just lucky I didn't get in there sooner and give you a piece of my mind. :goodjob: to BCLG.

I was wondering, is there any way I could organise to give my 750g to charity? I wont be around to spend it so...
