I made this mod primarily because I was tired of looking at the workshops being out of time in the industrial/modern era. While making a factory I thought : Hey! why not make it upgradable like the cottage/hamlet/village/town.

So here it is! And believe me, while small in size it was a pretty big job to code.
(For a noob like me)

Installation : Put the Industry folder from the rar into
...\Civilization4\Beyond the Sword\Mods\Rise of Mankind\Assets\Modules

Uninstallation : Move the Industry folder from Modules into
...\Civilization4\Beyond the Sword\Mods\Rise of Mankind\Assets\Unloaded Modules

All graphics are already part of the game.
(Industrial park, shale plant, assembly plant, factory, oil refinery)
(Industrial park, light industry, medium industry, heavy industry, full industry)

Requirement : Assembly Line
Built on : grassland/plains/tundra
Removes forrest
Cost 10 (scalable with size/speed)
Gets a little bit of trade and production
Production upgrades (5 step)
Gets bonuses from techs and routes.

(This is a beta, and while it works, it still needs the final touch balancing)

Things to consider :
Maybe make it available with industrialism instead of assembly line.
scale techs and routes bonuses (add/remove)

Things to do :
Find a way to get feature element <healthpercent> working on improvements.
(unhealthy pollution on higher levels)
Get a better name than : full industry

I think the full industry improvement graphics had pretty huge polygon count so maybe some alternative graphics model could be used (there''s plenty included with RoM).

Yeah, but it looks goooood ;)

I tried to take low poly buildings (really wanted the ammo factory too, but too many polys)
On one point though, since they are from citybuildings they don't have kfms so that should help a bit. Im currently playing a test game to see how it handles (I have a 128mb graphic card and if that can handle it I think everyone can.
Btw : I just saw in your readme that a 512mb graphic card is listed under requirements. As I stated above that is not true, and could keep a lot of people for trying RoM. Maybe make a required and a recommended list. If I had seen the requirements before I installed the mod I've probably wouldnt have installed it. Which on the other hand would have given me hundreds of hours to do something else ;)

This is a really great idea....I agree with the idea of upgradeable workshops.

BTW Vincentz, any chance of doing this mod for standard Civ4 BtS? :please:
