They do seem to take Jesus' command in Luke 14:26 very seriously.

Do they even still exist? I know they were big earlier this decade but I didn't see any in Queens, NY or Florida where I mostly lived until mid-decade.

It's funny to think about & most puritan-types & emo-types would be loathe to admit it, but it seems on the surface anyway, that puritans & emos have alot in common : a somewhat fatalist world view, an aversion to fun, an appreciation for melodrama, etc..

I can't feel love for fictional creations. I do however love my self.

I actually liked the emo clothing style, very boroque I guess you could say(im not just trying to use a fancy word its just really what came to mind). But I highly desposed the false depression and melodrama, it devalued peoples, especially teens at such a pivotal point in there lifes, actual problems, because they became so "common". But the clothing style can stay.

Sometimes I really wonder what they're so emotional about. I used to be friends with a few of them, and I know for a fact my life is a lot more screwed up than theirs is. Silly emos.

When you are child you see your father one way and when you grow your idea of him changes that is becouse your consciousness developes. Your parents can perhaps claim you fyzicaly but I dont think they make or granted you your consciousness. Since you are not only the body the real parent of yours happens to be God.

We can not even claim themselves. Only anything I am in full possesion I can claim. But I do not control my heartbeat or breathing consciously; my body has inteligence of its own...I do try to be a master of my emotions or senses but in reality it is often quite the opposite...
I love my parents but I am quite the realist and I do not think of them as superhuman; but that is what it realy takes to be in full possesion of something (consciousness)
