View Full Version : Office of the Term IV Trade and Tech Office
Bowsling Jun 01, 2009, 08:03 PM Here is the office for the Term 4 t'n't office
other stuff will be edited in later.
Who wants deputy? This may be an important position until very late in this term when I'll be off for two months.
CommandoBob Jun 01, 2009, 09:12 PM Bowsling, I hearby pass on to you the Sacred Beakers of Hibernian Knowldege.
Guard them well, for they can fetch a pretty penny at eBay whenever they become empty, though that shocking event has not yet happened.
May these Carafes of Golden Elixir guide you as you lead us to discover new knowledge, new skills and new weapons.

But, don't inhale.
Bowsling Jun 09, 2009, 04:24 PM I think I have to resign from this position. Right after the disk drive starts working, the disk itself stops working. T'n'T is job you can't do without the save :(
CommandoBob Jun 09, 2009, 07:26 PM Don't resign right away.
Did you update your firewall recently?
I use PC Tool Firewall Plus. Once, after an update, C3C stopped working. Not Civ4, nor Mystery Case Files, just C3C. I traced it down to a 'Super Smart' setting in the firewall. Once I deselected that, the problem went away.
Cyc Jun 09, 2009, 10:54 PM Maybe Bowsling inhaled The Sacred Beakers of Hibernian Knowledge.
Furiey Jun 10, 2009, 03:19 AM Try CivAssist. I find it actually makes the T'n'T job easier than using Civ to look at the save as it summarises all the trade info in one nice simple screen.
CommandoBob Jun 10, 2009, 07:41 AM True, but CivAssist won't tell you what you can get for your techs. It shows you what deals are in place, with all the details for each trade.
It shows what you have to wheel and deal with, but it doesn't show you what you can get for your techs. For that you still need to have the game open.
Bowsling Jun 10, 2009, 06:46 PM Uh, I mean the disk is extremely scratched and has already been fixed. At first it started maked funny noises, then it would completely stall when I would load it. And cIV works, so it ain't the disk drive.
CommandoBob Jun 10, 2009, 06:52 PM I've seen C3C in Target for about $20.
Bowsling Jun 11, 2009, 05:31 PM I have the complete edition though, and disk one isn't working. Also, Target does not exist in Canada.
CommandoBob Jun 11, 2009, 06:20 PM I have the complete edition though, and disk one isn't working. Also, Target does not exist in Canada.
Oops. Didn't know you were that far north.
Amazon sells it also, not to mention eBay.
I say that, but then I don't know if you can access them. Sorry.
Bowsling Jun 16, 2009, 07:30 PM The thing is that it's the complete edition, and I can't just get disk one on it's own. I'm gonna see if I can get it fixed. In the meantime, though, somebody else needs to cover for me, as there is no way to do T&T without the save.
