Hello, all.
After an inquisiton of our former leader/founder, Grandmaster has given up the demogame. I am here to take his place. Today, I give you a glimpse of the New German Ethinc Group:
I plan on making this a fourm for ideas to put German influence into Fanatika. Such as composers (after all, bach wrote his best by the rhine), artists, great thinkers and philosiphers. I want this to be about Einstine, not the man who forced him out of Germany.
I would be honored if you all rejoined to help us rebuild.


UPDATE: We now own land and a group headquarters. Bulding plans now being accepted for ideas for what to put there. We need to thank Grandmaster for letting us (me in particular) use his bank account to finance all of these things.

I love the aspect of this group that deals with the culture of the German people. Germany is a beautiful country, no doubt about it. The German life-style can be looked at as more relaxed and more fruitful. Great minds in all the arts and sciences have been produced by this region of Europe.

But you people need to take a pill on the WWII stuff. That is part of the world's history. There is no use trying to run and hide from it. And don't tell me that's not what you're doing. How many of you have been to Germany? Hitler and the Nazi's are not popular subjects over there, but people don't physically and mentally block out 10 or so years of the history. They deal with it. You should too, as it's part of your history.

I think that GM's last thread went a little too far myself, too. But he was right in the fact that everyone here want's to rule the world, whether by force or any other means. GM was just a little too graphic. That doesn't mean he's any different than any of the other CIV3 players that want to go to war.

Think about it. How many people voted for us to play the german tribe because of their culture? How many voted for Germany because of the panzers? All I'm saying is chill. We understand your problem of not being able to cope with that period of world history. That doesn't mean you have to lock up the German's group with your silly rules.

I am glad to see peole are comming back. my first proposal, as head, is directed at noneother then cyc. How about a German Culture Museum? Let us be proud of the culture we are based on. Exibits on the great thinkers named above, musicians like Bach and Betoven, great artists. Any thoughs?

First Sugestion: A clasical composer exibit and possibly a body of water named after a composer. Either that or name a river the Rhine.

Well, should that be the case, I will stand by my word and honorably discharge myself from this fine establishment. This group's survival is what matters, and I intend to do nothing to hinder it, even if it means leaving. However, I do have plans for starting up a Russian Ethnic Group should I have need to resign myself from my fellow Germans.

is it some kind of party?
will you help each other during the elections?

how do you get the "german names" and "german details" into your game?
are there for example polls how the next river should be named, and you all support the Rhine-proposal?

welcome to Fanatika and the NGEG
to answer your questions:
this is not a party, since parties are not allowed according to our constitution. we are currently a bit slow, since everyone in Fanatika is either not playing or in the RPG. We plan on seeing if we can name a river after the Rhine. also- we have a very strict policy when it come to ww2. mainly, dont mention it until we hit Panzers in the game. also- in the last game (this one being the second), we were able to rename a captured city Fridenburg.

The purpose of our humble group is to unite the Germans of Fanatika, all to fight for a common cause.

Also, I would like to correct our Bruder Penguin in his above post. Political Parties are banned under our
Code of Laws, not constituion. There's a difference between those two documents.

ah yes...
forgive my lack of knowledge to tell the CO's appart. I wasnt here when they were written and I assumed that it was in the constitution. Now that I think about it, it does make more sense that its in the COL
