View Full Version : Looking for something specific

I'm just wondering if there are any maps of Earth that aren't too small (bigger than the one included with Civ IV) but also aren't too big (so big that they take forever in between turns, crash computers, etc.).

Now I've checked out maps like CarterEarth and Earth24 (sorry that I might not have the proper/exact names) and they're a bit too hardware taxing for me, well not really hardware taxing as much as a longer wait between turns that it actually turns me off from the map itself.

To expand on what I'm looking for: I like maps that are historically accurate, per say, maps that don't have Celts starting in Indonesia or the Chinese in South America. Maps that have good, proper, preset starting conditions, and locations, and resources are great, but so are maps that don't have Genghis Khan and Roosevelt together (in the same time to be more specific).

I'm also looking for another map, that involves the Mongols or (even better :)) the separate tribes (think Kazakhs and Jungars, or go watch The Nomad). I don't really want an Earth map for this (for obvious reasons) so something that centers around Asia would be nice (if it had the Russian Czar, amazing).

Now the chances for number two existing are probably slim :crazyeye:, but I think number one might actually exist.

Thanks ahead of time for all the suggestions:)

[Oh yeah, forget to say that I wouldn't mind if it was BtS, but at this rate with all the "filters" :crazyeye: I don't really care if it's either of them]

hey buddy i've got alot of earth-scenarios on rhys and fall earth map why dont you give me a PM and I will create anything you want on rhys earth map for you. I've got a few 18 civ old world civilizations so no mongolia and america present (time specific) but I can create anything you want to be honest. If you want I will upload the exact scenario that allows me to create anything on rhys map.
