You are looking for saved games ? I think you talk about the generic game.
My best guess is that not so many people play the generic game anymore ,because you can find much better scenarios here on the forum. So instead of linking you to saved games ,I will give you the link to the Complete Scenarios Library :

Because you are asking for saves ,I would suggest you a Scenario that comes already with a pre-placed map. The choice is yours ...

btw: I have a good amount of saved games on my HD ,but they will not help you. I usually do heavily modify the Scenarios I download here. So the saves can not be used by others.
