Stuck_as_a_Mac Sep 21, 2002, 04:26 PM the egocentric eatery is willing to cooperate the barvarian smokehouse to get better meat.
Zarn Sep 21, 2002, 04:29 PM I know that some think the trout is a sacred animal, but I'm a Jedi and couldn't care less. So can you sell them, too?
Cyc Sep 21, 2002, 05:00 PM @ SAaM - We will be more than happy to set up an account with the Egocentric Eatery. Peruse the Price List and decide what you like to start with. We have a storage facility in Bavaria for local orders, if you are interested in a large purchase. As we are dealing in perishables, we might even do transactions through the PM system (which I'm sure is a legitimate bookkeepping method).
@ Zarn - Yes we can. In fact we have more trout than other fish. Cut and cleaned at 3g per 2lbs. (specially priced for you). The Jedi Council may be interested in one of our large bear rugs for the Temple floor, also. Just a thought...
Octavian X Sep 21, 2002, 08:29 PM SAVE THE TROUT! SAVE THE TROUT! SAVE THE TROUT!
Instead, serve doughnuts. I have an excellent recipe for smoked doughnuts...
jdd2007 Sep 21, 2002, 08:36 PM free samples? :D
Zarn Sep 21, 2002, 09:15 PM 2 lbs of trout, please. I'll think about the rug. I would only have doughnuts, if they are trout flavered and come with trout.
Cyc Sep 22, 2002, 12:35 AM Speaking of which, Zarn, I have a salt brine barrel at the storage location in Bavaria that is about half full of smoked salmon. Now this smoked salmon is sometimes called lochs and goes well with bagels, which are close to doughnuts. In fact, the German word for salmon is lachs. So it may be a traditional meal or appetizer.
Cyc Sep 23, 2002, 10:49 PM http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads2/New.gif
After a brief hunting/scouting trip to the extreme NW, I now have available a delicacy known mainly to eskimos of that area. Yes, you guessed it...http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads2/Linux100.gif ...Smoked Penguin! Only in a limited quanity, so order quickly. They were fairly easy to shish-ka-bob, so the going price is 5g per pound. Hurry, while those little waddlers are hot!

Octavian X Sep 23, 2002, 11:10 PM You don't like SAAM much, do you?
Cyc Sep 23, 2002, 11:45 PM SAAM who?
Diabloinex Sep 25, 2002, 05:20 PM WHOA, a penguin.
BTW, is there any beer or fine wine?
Cyc Sep 25, 2002, 07:24 PM @ Diabloinex - Just to bring you up-to-date, our restaraunt is not open yet. When it does, you will have a full bar available to you. Expect the "Cattleman Smokehouse" to open as soon as we get roads built from Bavaria.
We are selling items wholesale and retail. As you can see from the Price List above we have many items to choose from. A new item available soon, will be Red Hot Smoked Buffalo wings. So hot, they'll bring out the devil in you...
So keep us in mind when you do your shopping and when the restaraunt opens up, make a reservation.
Diabloinex Sep 25, 2002, 07:40 PM o i like that sales pitch Cyc. How can i not resist to bring that devil out of me. When that bar is open, I'll be so smashed ill make your smokehouse a multi-thousand restaurent/bar (especially bar) chain.
this is a j/k obviously (eyrei) but for sure this will be ma main tavern!
Great Iguanaman Sep 25, 2002, 07:52 PM You really should check out The EgoCentric Eatery, that seams more suitable for you ;). Its also widely varied, and you can also get 'smashed' there.

Cyc Sep 25, 2002, 08:25 PM Hey, GI! No more advertising for your Eatery in my thread, or I'll smoke YOU... You now owe me 1 free advertising post in your thread. I will post when the restaraunt opens.
That does it. I'm going down South and hunt some of those four-legged snakes. We'll have smoked Iguana legs on the Price List.
Great Iguanaman Sep 25, 2002, 08:31 PM Fair enough.

He is young, Cyc. He will learn in time. If you have problems, let me know. The Council wouldn't be pleased if he did this again.

Diabloinex Oct 03, 2002, 04:36 PM when is the grand opening?
Plexus Oct 03, 2002, 05:56 PM could i interest you in carrying fine Bäckerei des Plexus (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=33203) breads and rolls?
Cyc Oct 03, 2002, 06:00 PM "Yes, the Grand Opening is upon us and the doors will be open to the public come Saturday. "
We will be taking reservations for the restaurant for this Saturday, October 5th. We will open around 4ish and close around Midnight. Same with the bar, although the bar menu hasn't been laid out yet, you can bet we'll have those extra hot buffalo wings. Here's a complimentary drink ticket for you to use when you come up to see us.
Cyc Oct 03, 2002, 06:03 PM @Plexus - ya know I was going to buy some of your items, but I just haven't had the time. Those rolls and the tortillas looked good. I'll try to get by your shop soon.
BTW, here's your free drink ticket...
Plexus Oct 03, 2002, 06:11 PM thanks, Cyc, for the free drink, I will be going to enjoy a meal on saturday. :D
Diabloinex Oct 03, 2002, 06:16 PM where's da prices?
Plexus Oct 03, 2002, 06:22 PM http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?postid=497555#post497555
the resturante hasn't opened up yet but the smokehouse has been open for quite some time...
Shaitan Oct 03, 2002, 06:36 PM Master Cyc! So glad I could make it. I apologize for being tardy. I would love to dine upon some prime beef. Fix me up with a porterhouse. I'll take tomatoes and onions, onion soup, a small salad, and bread to finish it out. Do you hapen to carry Rebel beers? If so I'll wash it down with a Riot. If not, a tall glass of milk will suit admirably.
Thank you for inviting me to your fine establishment. :)
EDIT: I just received your reschedule notice. Ah, well. I shall dream of the fine dining until tomorrow. In the meantime I shall avail myself of the springs before I head home.
Cyc Oct 03, 2002, 11:45 PM @Shaitan - Welcome, my friend. Have a seat, relax, and enjoy. Yes the meeting was rescheduled to tomorrow between 6pm and 7pm EDT. Feel free to explore the grounds and let me know if you're hungry.
@Plexus - Very good, sir. We will expect you around 4pm and 5pm EDT on Saturday the 5th.
@Diabloinex - The prices that Plexus showed you were for the wholesale and retail end of the business. The restaurant price are listed above in post #21. All meals are 50g and include your choice of meat, side dishes, and breads. Libations are extra. I'll have the Bar Menu up soon.
BCLG100 Oct 04, 2002, 02:58 PM ok and your tab at the designer warehouse has been opened
Shaitan Oct 04, 2002, 04:48 PM I have arrived, master Cyc. Have you considered adding a stable to your fine establishment? I hate to leave my roan tethered for such a long time.
When shall dinner be served? :)
Cyc Oct 04, 2002, 05:05 PM Ah, Shaitain, welcome. If you like you can put your roan in the small corral I use for my work. It should be fine there.
Come into the sitting room and choose your poison. We have quite a few selections on the grill, still in the mood for Prime Rib?
Shaitan Oct 04, 2002, 06:07 PM Thank you, he should be just fine in there.
Fix me up with the porterhouse and fixings. Do you have mushrooms and onions?
Cyc Oct 04, 2002, 06:22 PM *Cyc returns carrying a huge platter, Sara is following silently with a huge mug of Riot Fest beer*
Here you are m'Lord, one 24 oz. Porterhouse marinated in olive oil, basil, rosemary, garlic, and fresh lemon. Grilled just the way you like it and smothered in mushrooms and onions. You may try any of the side dishes on the table, along with the breads. Enjoy...I shall return.
*Sara places the beer at the top of his meal*
Cyc Oct 04, 2002, 07:25 PM Mmmm...You made quick work of the Porterhouse, m'Lord, and I see you've sampled most all of the offerings on the table. Should I wheel your chair into the sitting room for a drink, or will you be walking?
Shaitan Oct 04, 2002, 09:41 PM Perhaps a wafer thin mint? Nah, I couldn't eat another bite.
I think I can walk myself, but stand ready should I falter. Quite an excellent steak. Perhaps we could make an arrangement for some of the Marillion herds to find their way to your stockade?
Cyc Oct 04, 2002, 09:54 PM *Cyc twists his imaginery "cattle-rustling" moustache *
Ah, but m'Lord, these were your cattle :). J/K I do have another business proposal for you *turns to look for Sara's proximity* but I will PM you about it.
I'm glad you enjoyed your meal, will you be using the hot springs tonight, or are you calling it an evening?
Shaitan Oct 05, 2002, 05:37 AM Definitely a dip in the springs is in order. Must try out my new swimming uniform. Have you been by that new haberdashers recently? Excellent work and a fair price. Even for custom garb.
disorganizer Oct 05, 2002, 06:13 AM Im happy you serve rebel brew in here.
Now i would like to try some penguin... what will go with it and how much does it cost?
Stuck_as_a_Mac Oct 05, 2002, 08:00 AM i am hereby requesting that penguin be taken off the menu. Penguins are not meant to be eaten, as are cows and chicken. If you would like to escalate this into a debate on ethics, so be it, but i am requesting that penguin be taken off the menu (also- if you keep it on, be aware that there IS a supplier and a hefty price tag on the bird)
Stuck_as_a_Mac Oct 05, 2002, 08:03 AM i will take the poor penguin you would plan on butchering to make a meal, please.
also- that waffer thin mint looks apitizing, might as well eat it and expolde anyways.
SaaM
Penguin Rights Activist.
Cyc Oct 05, 2002, 09:23 AM Greetings Gentleman. You must have missed the sign on the door. The Cattleman will not officially open for another 10 hours or so. But please return, here's a free drink ticket for each of you. Is there something wrong with your leg, SAaM? Or is that a natural waddle?
Anyway, good to see you and please come again!
Cyc Oct 05, 2002, 09:45 AM @ Dis - Old friend, had you read the Grand Opening Announcement or the Menu, you would have noticed that all standard meals are 50g. You just make a reservation, as meals will be served by reservation only, stating the day and time you would like to be served. When making the reservation, you can inform us which meal you would like to have, as well as which libation, or you can wait until you arrive to tell us.
Plexus was good enough to make a reservation for today earlier in the week. He will be our first "official" customer. So far, the Cattleman has served 3 meals. The first to the President of Fanatika, Eklektikos. The President dined on the Penguin meal and loved it. He then soaked his feet in the hot springs before going off to DP the turn chat of Wednesday 10/02. In fact the President enjoyed the penguin so much, we're thinking about renaming the meal "The Presidential Penguin Plate".
As you can see, Shaitan, Earl of Seabrake, is in the hot springs after a long meal of Porterhouse Steak. Donsig, capitalist and Government Leader, also enjoyed a meal of penguin here. The penguin is fast becoming one of our most popular meals.
All 3 of the afore mentioned meals were at no cost to our honored guests. They were a tribute to the greatness and leadership of these individuals. But our doors will be open to the public soon and you can still make a reservation for today, if you wish, although we like more advanced notice to fully prepare for the event. BTW, a soak in the hot springs is free with a meal. If you are not purchasing a meal, then the enjoyment of the hot springs will be 50g. As always the bar will be open as long as the restaurant is open, and I will have that menu up shortly.
So come and enjoy.
Shaitan Oct 05, 2002, 10:07 AM I am now officially a prune, thanks to your wonderful hot spring. I've also digested enough to ride home. I must check on the activities of my agents. They should have my corporation on line by this time and be putting stocks up for purchase.
Thank you for an exceptional meal.
Cyc Oct 05, 2002, 10:11 AM @SAaM - Sorry, old chum. Penguin will not be taken off the menu anytime soon. As stated above, it has quickly become a favorite here at the Cattleman. If you would like to to debate dinning on the goodness of a Presidential Penguin Plate, fine. This will just be more advertisement for the meal.
"Brought down from the artic regions, our smoked penguin meals are not only new to the market, but new to the taste buds of the people of Fanatika. After being perfectly smoked and aged, the meat has a rich gamey flavor and a firm texture. Put a squeeze of lemon and a sprinkle of black pepper on it and you have a mouth-watering appetizer or a meal in itself. But that's for people who want to cut the flavor of the penguin down some. Personally, I like to marinate the penguin then hot-smoke it over oak chips, partially cooking the bird and infusing it with deep, meaty smokiness."
So, SAaM, if moral debate is what you want, bring it on. But if you try to "rescue" any penguin from my property, be fore-warned, I am fairly good with a spear. Sara is no slouch either.
Why don't you change your mind and come up to the Cattleman. Try our fine meats and enjoy our hospitality? Use your free drink ticket at the bar and I'll make sure that you get a penguin sampler to taste test.
Come and enjoy...
Cyc Oct 05, 2002, 10:15 AM Thank you for attending Shaitan. It was an honor, as it has been for my other two guests and all the guests to come. Have a safe ride home, and return soon.
disorganizer Oct 05, 2002, 02:36 PM I would like to reserve a place to be served a penguin as soon as possible! English please!
And for drink i - what else should i have - would like a riot! The best beer in universe!
Plexus Oct 05, 2002, 02:46 PM Ah, Cyc, I am here and ready to be seated. Do I just go and order now? Well, if that is the case, I would like the Prime Porterhouse cooked Medium-Rare. Ah, almost forgot, I would like a Riot-beer with that. Perchance you have any Riot-Bread?
Cyc Oct 05, 2002, 04:46 PM @Plexus - Good evening, Sir. I would have been here earlier but my horse put the cart in the same old rut it always does on a Saturday afternoon. Your order for the Porterhouse, medium rare, and a riot beer has been taken. Sara has been grilling it for you in my absence. Feel free to enter the dining room a selct a seat at the marble top table in the center of the room. Your meal will be out shortly. Here's your Riot-beer, help yourself to the sides and breads on the table. We have no riot-bread as of yet, sorry. But try the tortillas :), they're from down south as you well know. Back in a bit.
Cyc Oct 05, 2002, 04:50 PM @Dis- Good evening, Sir. I will be more than happy to serve you after Plexus. We have some Prime Presidential Penguin lined up for you this evening. Have a seat in the bar. I'll get you some tasty morsels as an appetizer with your first order of riot beer.
disorganizer Oct 05, 2002, 04:58 PM Hmmmm. Yummy!
Thats very nice sir Cyc. I will just sit down here and let the drinks flow till you are ready.
Hey, nice view up here :-) I can see my bar!
What will i get with my pengu? I am really hungry!
Btw: Where can i leave my armor? Im a bit over stuffed for tonite.
Cyc Oct 05, 2002, 05:25 PM I'm sorry. I'll take your armor and put them in the closet. There, that's better. Here's that appetizer platter I warned you about. Careful not to get too full. Here's your beer. When I have your Presidential Penguin Plate ready, you'll be able to choose from any of the sides on the table including the breads.
And I do like the view. It's one of the reasons I'm up here.
BCLG100 Oct 05, 2002, 05:28 PM so do you sell cigars in here then?
also dis got his armour from here
http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=33334 but anyway
Plexus Oct 05, 2002, 06:27 PM I have seated my self near the back, comfy seats... :)
Cyc Oct 05, 2002, 06:40 PM Cyc gives Plexus his full attention and serves the meal to it's fullest extenet. Plexus seems pleased.
Another beer, Sir?
Stuck_as_a_Mac Oct 05, 2002, 06:41 PM cyc- ill use my drink ticket, now. gimmie your finest vintage.
Cyc Oct 05, 2002, 06:49 PM Well, stuck, glad you could make it back. I hope this is a friendly visit...
Try this red wine here.... it's an '88.
Enjoy.
Plexus Oct 05, 2002, 06:53 PM sure i'll use my drink ticket to get another riot, the meal is excellent! best steak i've had in ages.
Stuck_as_a_Mac Oct 05, 2002, 06:54 PM hmm...

*swigs wine in mouth, twice*
ah, yes. thats the ticket.
Zarn Oct 05, 2002, 08:06 PM Cyc, lets see those prices on the bear rugs.
Cyc Oct 06, 2002, 12:11 AM Man, I had no idea opening day would be so busy.
@BCLG100 - No, sorry. We don't sell tobacco here. None of my family has smoked tobacco, as it tends to deaden ones distinct smelling ability. When I work, I need to be able to tell when the Smokehouse is running just right, so I need my nose to 100%. Sorry,
@Plexus - Don't worry about using your ticket here tonight. As my first paying customer, you can have that second beer for free.
@SAaM - I'm so glad you liked the wine. We'll have some available when ever you show up.
@Zarn - Good to see you. Here's a free drink ticket. Have Sara get you a drink. I'll go get some of the bear skin rugs, so you can see what I'm talking about.
Cyc Oct 06, 2002, 01:02 AM *Walks back into the sitting room, slowly - arms full with bearskin rugs. Kneels before Zarn and half spreads the rugs.*
Lord Master Zarn, I am so pleased that you have come to consider purchasing these fine rugs from me. I have here 3 examples of my trips through the area. First is the beautiful white fur of the polar bear. This would look fantanstic under the Lord Master's chair, or maybe on the wall behind him. This black bear would then look good placed before the Lord masters chair, showing the contrast of those who come before him. White facing black. And here is another type of black bear, only this one is a different family of bears and is blonde actually. I have 2 identical blonde black bearskin rugs. So you have some choices here, not only in colors but in the design in which you will use them.
As I have great respect for you and your followers dedication, I am willing to part with the rugs of your choice at great discount. These rugs could bring in as much as 800g a piece. But I will give you your choice of as many as you would like @200g a piece. I would be honored to have these displayed in the Jedi Temple.
Octavian X Oct 06, 2002, 01:18 AM Frankly, I'm suprised this fine establishment dones't serve pork. I was looking into getting some smoked bacon...
Cyc Oct 06, 2002, 01:55 AM Actually Octavian X, the reason is, I dislike skinning pork the most. It's kind of...well let's not get into it here. I will say that if you nick your finger with the knife, the juice from the skin will sting in the cut. Besides, pork isn't really that healthy for you. But I admit, occasionally, a slice can taste awfully good.
disorganizer Oct 06, 2002, 06:44 AM ****yaaawnn****

BCLG100 Oct 06, 2002, 07:34 AM @Cyc never mind neiher do i just wanted to show off :)
Zarn Oct 06, 2002, 07:54 AM @Cyc, well the Jedi are having a vote on it, so I'll be back to tell you. I just needed prices and products. I can't spend Council money without the approval of other masters.
Cyc Oct 06, 2002, 12:14 PM Good Morning Dis. You were sleeping so soundly, I didn't want to wake you. So things got so busy here last night. Feel free to freshen up and I'll fix you a large penguine omelet, some fresh bread, and some of our Wach coffee. What a night, huh?
Cyc Oct 06, 2002, 12:17 PM @BCLG100 - :) I realized it was just a plug for free advertising.
@Zarn - OK. I'll stop by the Temple and post the particulars
Cyc Oct 06, 2002, 12:44 PM OK. Running a quick tab here...totals for opening day...
Plexus - Dinner 50g, free drinks
Dis - Free apetizers, free drinks
SAaM - Free glass of wine
Zarn & Octavian X - Free drinks?
Looks like I might have to change my sales strategy.
disorganizer Oct 06, 2002, 04:06 PM Cyc: Yeah Ok! And when does the meal start? I already ate the breakfast you brought and am still hungry!
But it was delicious!!!
Hope more of the peng comes!
(i will eat till im sleeping again!)
Cyc Oct 06, 2002, 08:31 PM Alright! I have a customer on the second day. That's a good sign. One Presidential Penguin Plate coming right up, Dis. Help yourself to any of the fixin's on the table.
Cyc Oct 06, 2002, 10:01 PM Here ya go, Dis. One huge penguin lunch. Sink yer teeth into that and I 'll get you another beer on the house.
*Walks back in with a large Riot beer*
There you are, Sir. Enjoy. I'm going to go work on the Bar Menu.
Plexus Oct 06, 2002, 10:19 PM I'd like to order 3 lb. of buffalo, thanks.
Octavian X Oct 06, 2002, 10:33 PM @Cyc: I'll take those free drinks, thank you:D
Also, that smoked penguin looks delicious, yet strangely cute. I will have smoked penguin meal for 50g.
Cyc Oct 06, 2002, 10:48 PM Very good, Sir Plexus. Wise choice. This is the best bison available today, and your getting the finest cuts. I've wrapped it in a small shroud for. There ya go...3 lbs @ 6g per lb equals 18 gold, thank you.
Cyc Oct 06, 2002, 10:53 PM Welcome, Sir Octavian X. I'm glad to see you could join us this evening. Have a seat in the Dining Room, and I'll get started on your Presidential Penguin Plate. (Man they're selling like hotcakes. I'm going to have to make another trip up North.) Be right back. What can I get you to Drink?
disorganizer Oct 07, 2002, 01:05 AM Ahhh* now im fit!
Could i have a cappucino to finish and the receipt please?
I wonder if i still fit into my armory...
But a compliment to the chef, it was delicious!
Cyc Oct 07, 2002, 01:21 AM I'm glad you enjoyed your meal, Dis. I can get you a great mug of coffee, but we only stock the potent Wach coffee and the delightful Gewrz coffee. I'm sorry I don't have the technology for those fancy city drinks. I'm just a country boy making good here. So which will it be? The coffee that tastes great or the stuff that will keep you up 'till tuesday? Either way it's free cause until now I haven't posted a Bar Menu.
But guess what? I've just finished making one up....
disorganizer Oct 07, 2002, 01:22 AM I believe so ... i will take the awakener coffee :-) extra strong please! I have a long walk in front of me as i dont own a horse yet.
Cyc Oct 07, 2002, 01:24 AM http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads2/barmenu1.gif
Cyc Oct 07, 2002, 01:34 AM That'll be fine. One mug of Wach coffee coming right up.
*Disappears and then reappears with a steaming hot mug of java*
Here you go Sir. Drink up. I'll be headed into town later this morning if you'd like to catch a ride on my cart or just tag along...
disorganizer Oct 07, 2002, 01:35 AM Nah, i think i will walk. I have to train off some parts of that delicious meal right away!
Cyc Oct 07, 2002, 01:48 AM OK, for day #2, the totals are...
Dis - 50g for the Presidential Penguin Plate
Plexus - 18g for the 3 ibs. of Buffalo
Octavian X - 50g for the Presidential Penguin Plate
And now my bar is ready to officially open. A good day indeed.
But speaking of Octavian X, he never told me what he wanted to drink and the only thing I saw him order at the Hunt was a milk. But he did get plastered some how...I'll put a little liqour in his milk, some of this sweet stuff I picked up from an Aztec...
BCLG100 Oct 07, 2002, 12:53 PM @Cyc it wasnt i really wanted a cigar to show off and since dis had just posted i thought why not sorry if you got mad
Cyc Oct 07, 2002, 01:33 PM I'm not mad, BCLG100. In fact I'm happy you don't smoke. Bad stuff indeed. BTW, if I didn't get you a free drink ticket, here ya go. The bar is now officially open and the restaurant is in full swing. I'm sure you don't drink either, but if you come up, I'm sure Sara can find a fruit or vegetable drink for you. Don't worry about the advertising. Consider it a favor for supplying me with these fine clothes.
BCLG100 Oct 07, 2002, 01:41 PM uhm do you have a coke? and i dont smoke it stinks litaraly also only had a drink a couple of times
Cyc Oct 07, 2002, 03:12 PM Sorry, no cokes either. I find that unhealthy too. But it does do a real good job of cleaning the rust off my sword...
Michael Collins Oct 07, 2002, 06:31 PM Hi, would it be alright if I made a reservation for Thursday night and also got a meal tonight? I'll take a riot beer and the stuffed olives and carrots now. I'd like to order the Porterhouse medium rare for my meal tonight if possible. Maybe the penguin on Thursday?
Plexus Oct 07, 2002, 06:36 PM Originally posted by Cyc
I'm glad you enjoyed your meal, Dis.
Hehe, Wach is for wimpy little girlys! Give me a strong Groß Wach any day!
j/k
Cyc Oct 07, 2002, 07:16 PM @Plexus - You're so right. I should have gotten the Grob Wach. Next time I will. But the Wach coffee is still pretty good.
Cyc Oct 07, 2002, 07:18 PM @Michael Collins - Sure! It's a slow night. Have a seat at the bar, here's your beer and olives with carrots. I've got your Porterhouse on the grill, now. If you need another beer, let me know.
Plexus Oct 07, 2002, 07:19 PM @Cyc: True. True. :D
Michael Collins Oct 07, 2002, 07:55 PM OK. I'm pretty hungry. I'll take another beer with my meal. How or when will I pay for the bar and meal, or will you take care of it?
Cyc Oct 07, 2002, 09:20 PM Here you go, Sir. Just how you like it. Medium rare and I put some mushrooms and onions on the side for you. Here's your second beer. Feel free to sample anything on the table.
I'll figure the tab..2 beers, olives with carrots, and a Porterhouse. That will come to a total of 75g, Sir.
And I have you down here as returning on Thursday for the Penguin. Thank you, Sir.
Octavian X Oct 07, 2002, 10:00 PM Thank you for the milk. That penguin was tangy.
I will revist the establishment soon. That strip steak looks mouthwatering...
Cyc Oct 07, 2002, 10:14 PM No, thank you, Sir Octavian X, for coming to our humble restaurant. I'm glad you liked the milk. And you've eyed one of the tastier meals on the menu - the strip steak. It comes with the bone still in it, which gives it that added extra flavor when the meat is sizzling on the grill. Come back soon.
Octavian X Oct 07, 2002, 10:27 PM I expect I will. After having to set up the mayoral offices in Morgana, I shall be exetremely tired.
Before I take my leave tonight, I would like a glass of water for the road. I really need to convince them to build roads out to Octavia Manor...
Cyc Oct 07, 2002, 10:37 PM One tall glass of cold water from the covered jug outside. Travel safe, m'Lord.
Cyc Oct 08, 2002, 10:15 AM OK - Totals for day #3:
Michael Collins - Dinner and Drinks - 75g
Deposit in BOF - 194.5g (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?postid=529065#post529065)
Cyc Oct 10, 2002, 08:49 AM http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads2/New.gif
http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads2/lamb.gif
Has your intake of veal been rather sheepish lately?
Then stop by the Cattleman tonight, for we have Rack of Lamb on the grill. Come and enjoy a satisfying meal and take a dip in the Hot Springs.
Shaitan Oct 10, 2002, 09:05 AM I'll definitely need a relaxing meal after a hectic day in the Land Office. Sign me up for the veal dinner.
Cyc Oct 10, 2002, 09:13 AM Of course m'Lord. Your presence will be greatly appreciated. Come up anytime that is convenient for you.
Plexus Oct 10, 2002, 04:40 PM I wish to attend this grand affair, would it trouble you much to have a rabbit or a rat for my hawk? I will pay extra if it be neccessary.
Cyc Oct 10, 2002, 05:18 PM Welcome back Plexus, and what a fine hawk that is. Have you named it? I'm sure if you let it roam the corral area for awhile it will surely find something. And I should pay you for cleaning vermin off my land, haha. :)
What can I get you to drink? And might I interest you in a leg of Lamb, tonight?
Plexus Oct 10, 2002, 06:01 PM A leg of lamb, sounds too good to pass up. I'll get that. For my drink, I will get the wonderful Looterzale brew.
BTW: my hawk's name is Roten (meaning "red one")
Michael Collins Oct 10, 2002, 06:29 PM Hi. I'm here for my Porterhouse, and a glass of red wine. If I have to wait at the bar, that's fine.
Cyc Oct 10, 2002, 06:58 PM OK. Sir Plexus, your leg of lamb is being prepared and here's your beer.
Mr. Collins welcome. You can wait here at the bar or wait in the dining room. Here's your wine.
Will either of you be enjoying the hot springs tonight?
Plexus Oct 10, 2002, 07:01 PM aye, a dip in the springs sounds good
Shaitan Oct 10, 2002, 07:09 PM Sorry I'm here so late. It was a mad day at the office and my carriage lost a wheel on the way from the Marillion. My reward for travelling elegantly instead of sensibly.
If the kitchen is still open I have a powerful hunger for that lamb.
Michael Collins Oct 10, 2002, 07:10 PM I would like to but I haven't any swimwear. Next time.
Cyc Oct 10, 2002, 07:23 PM Welcome m'Lord. If the kitchen were closed I would open it for you. I have a leg of lamb or some veal chops for you, which do you prefer? And what to drink?
Sir Plexus and Mr. Collins, here are your meals, enjoy. Would either of you like another drink?
Plexus Oct 10, 2002, 07:28 PM I'd like another looterzale, thanks. looks delicious!
Michael Collins Oct 10, 2002, 07:34 PM No thanks. It was a great meal. I have to go now. Can you bill me. Thanks, bye.
Plexus Oct 10, 2002, 07:38 PM And what a meal it was! I'll be in the springs if you need me.
Cyc Oct 10, 2002, 07:42 PM Good-by Mr. Collins. Maybe next time you can enjoy the Hot Springs. Your meal and wine came to a total of 65g. Come back soon.
Sir Plexus, another looterzale for you. Shall I bring it out to the Hot springs? Or would you like it here?
I think Lord Shaitan fell asleep at the bar, this time.
Cyc Oct 10, 2002, 08:15 PM *serves Sir Plexus his Looterzale at the Hot springs. Places it on the flat rock next to his head. *
Sir Plexus, have you seen Lord Shaitan out here? I seem to have lost track of him. If you see him, tell him I have a leg of lamb prepared and waiting on the table for him.
Shaitan Oct 11, 2002, 01:19 AM I've had a night to match my day. I went back to try to fix my wheel while I waited and found a scoundrel upon my carriage, trying to pry off my emblem. I thrashed him twice before he gained the cover of the woods and then chased him to his camp. There I found his quite pregnant wife and 2 children. My loud accusations and curses upon him had raised them from their slumber and they were awaiting us by their banked fire.
The wife, who I soon learned was named Helga, soon ascertained what the situation was and set about the poor fellow with as much skill and likely more vigor than I could have. I quickly turned from being the wronged traveller to being the man's savior. Still, even my quicksilver tongue took some time to calm the woman and during this time he suffered a most excellent beating.
When things had calmed down I learned that the family had been forced from their home by a group of woodcutters and charcoal burners that wanted their forests. Although the law should have been on their side, the local reeve was likely in the intruders' pay and he sided with them. Forced from house and homeland, Helga, Rudy and the two boys began making their way to the limestone mines where Rudy hoped to find employment. He had been foraging for roots when he saw my carriage and thought it was abandoned (or at least unatended) and decided to strip it of its lordly elements to sell when possible.
In any regard Rudy turned out to be a fair wainright and has repaired my carriage wheel. Rudy would likely excel at stone cutting but I am stealing him and Helga for my own estates. I shall need breakfast for 5 before we head to Seabrake. Perhaps some of that cold leg with bread and butter. A spot of jam or marmalade if you have it and a few eggs. Milk for the children and ale for Rudy and myself. Helga is a teetotaller so give her milk as well.
Thank you my good man.
Cyc Oct 11, 2002, 02:37 AM A kind gesture m'Lord. May they treat you as well as you treat them. I shall feed you all enough to last you until your next dinner. Quite a tale you tell, m'Lord. It is always a pleasure to serve you.
With the dinner and the breakfast for 5 (with the ales) comes to a total of 100g. I'm glad no one was harmed, and I wish you a safe journey to Seabrake.
disorganizer Oct 11, 2002, 02:39 AM I have a nice idea for you cyc:
Why dont you sell "roasted bacon bits" as a snack for your bar?
Cyc Oct 11, 2002, 02:48 AM MMMMMmmmm...I don't believe I've ever seen roasted bacon bits at a bar...I was thinking about buying some pork rinds from the General Store just to place on the bar...again, we're talking pork... I'll look into it Dis. Thank you.
disorganizer Oct 11, 2002, 03:00 AM NP, as long as i could get some teasers regularly to put up at the bar with a singn "want more? go to the bavarian smokehouse!"
they should be rather salty to get people to drink more.
Cyc Oct 11, 2002, 03:16 AM If an inticement to buy more alcohol is something you're looking for Dis, I might suggest buying a bundle of beef jerky or maybe even the smoked salmon. This is good stuff we're talking about here. Just right to nibble on and sip a beer...
Cyc Oct 11, 2002, 03:25 AM OK, totals for day #6:
Plexus - Dinner and drinks...70g
Michael Collins - Dinner and wine...65g
Shaitan - Package...100g
Total...235g
235 X .8 = 188
Deposit to Cyc = 188g (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?postid=534625#post534625)
Cyc Oct 11, 2002, 05:30 PM mmmmmm...another quiet Friday night.
Just Sara, me and this bottle of Chardonnay....
Plexus Oct 12, 2002, 02:57 AM how long have I been in these hot springs? seems like ages... well, I'm off to my unnamed estate. Be well, my good friend.
*Plexus charges off to the south, hits a wall, and walks to and out of the door* :D
Cyc Oct 12, 2002, 11:46 AM :) Watch out for those walls, Sir Plexus. They have a tendency to sneak up on me, occasionally, too. ;)
Shaitan Oct 15, 2002, 04:10 AM Do you cater? I need a banquet meal for around 12 (I can give you the final count today) with a mix of your normal menu to be served at the Grand Tourney tomorrow. What would you charge for this? The Marillion staff can assist Sara as you're in the competitions.
Cyc Oct 15, 2002, 10:57 AM Yes, m'Lord. We would be more than happy to cater your Banquet. We of course would offer the full menu, to include all of the side dishes. We are prepared to offer a 25% discount on all meals. At 12 meals, that would be 450g. Because this is such a prestigious event, if you choose to honor us by accepting this offer, we will donate a side of smoked beef to roast over a pit at the Tourneyment grounds, for those not able to attend the Banquet.
This will not include the bar. Transport of the alcohol may be more costly than profitable. I will leave this side of the Banquet to you or a closer local business.
Shaitan Oct 15, 2002, 11:17 AM Fantastic. The pit roast is quite generous. Our actual head count is 10 for the tourney itself. I was hoping for a few more but I think that will be the final number. We'll have the Rebel Pub handle the beverages so don't concern yourself with that.
Shaitan Oct 16, 2002, 09:14 AM Headcount update
There are a total of 15 competitors to be fed at the Grand Tourney.
Cyc Oct 16, 2002, 09:24 AM Thank you, m'Lord. Sara has already seen the previous posting and is preparing the tables now. The spectators side of beef is now slowly turning and will be ready soon.
With the 25% discount on 15 meals, that comes to 562.5g. The side of beef, of course, is donated to the Event.
Cyc Oct 18, 2002, 11:34 AM Deposit - 450g (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?postid=548331#post548331)
At the Marillion Tourney
15 meals @50g = 750g
750g X .25 (25% discount donated) = 562.5g
562.5g X .8 = 450g
Other:
1 Side of Smoked Beef donated - value = 300g
15 X 12.5g (discount donated) = 187.5g
Total donation = 487.5g
Cyc Oct 20, 2002, 11:07 AM Just a quick note here!
The Cattleman Smokehouse is introducing the Tuesday night special! All drinks will be reduced to a cost of 5g with any meal purchased.
Have you tried the Cattleman yet? If not, come on up and try a sizzling steak with the best vegetables in the land. We also serve coffee, rolls and tortillas from the Bakery of Plexus, and our beer is local brew from Disorganizer's Rebel Pub and Brewery. Come and feast on a meal you will remember with drinks for only 5g.
Cyc Oct 28, 2002, 12:50 PM http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads2/New.gif
http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads2/skisketch3.jpg
Got that itch to go skiing lately, but short on gold? The Cattleman Smokehouse is running a special that will delight the advanced skier longing to get back on the slopes, as well as the novice, or first time skier, wanting to explore a new sport.
http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads2/skisketch2.jpg
So now, by enjoying the finest dinner and drinks in Fanatika, you'll also treat yourself to a day on Mt. Victory! That's right, FREE skiing! That's skiis, poles, boots, and a day pass.
http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads2/skisketch.jpg
Grab your snow bunny or go solo, you can't beat this deal. And don't forget the complimentary Hot Springs available at the Cattleman. Just right for an after dinner soak. See ya there!
BCLG100 Oct 28, 2002, 01:06 PM uhm scuse me do yuo midn if i post an add in the window its about my gala and would appreciate it if more people got involved as that would increase the grand prize for certain people
Cyc Oct 28, 2002, 01:18 PM No, sir. I don't mind. Please tell me about it.
BCLG100 Oct 28, 2002, 01:26 PM well it is a swimming gala which i am trying to organise with events and things in it also has an event where people get into teams and try and through the ball into a net the one that does it the most time wins http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=35141
i thought it would be a good way to get the rpg more personel and still have fun by making them teams
Plexus Oct 28, 2002, 03:50 PM Sir Cyc, may I get 3 pounds of Bear?
Do you sell jerked meat? If so, I would like 2 pounds of your finest beef jerkey. Thank you.
Cyc Oct 28, 2002, 04:09 PM Yes, Sir Plexus. Here's your 3 lbs of bear. You might want to ka-bob that on an outdoor grill.
We don't jerk our meat very often here at the BS, but for you..:) , no problem. Here's a bundle of beef jerky that should last about a month.
Let's see...that 3 lbs. @8g per lb = 24g, and the beef jerky for 10g. Comes to a total of...34g. Enjoy.
Plexus Oct 28, 2002, 04:14 PM Thanks much, Cyc.
Octavian X Oct 28, 2002, 11:11 PM It has been a while since I last visited this fine establishment, and my travels through Bohemia have back. I intended to try the strip steak last time, and I will do so now.
Cyc Oct 29, 2002, 01:48 AM Good choice Sir Octavian X. The strip steak is one of the tastiest cuts we serve. it lingers longer on the mind than on the tongue, I think. Have a seat while I dish some up. What would you like to drink?
Shabbaman Oct 29, 2002, 03:43 AM I come for my free beer Cyc. And while I'm here, I just as well get me some dinner. Serve me some of your finest meat, as long as it's not fishy....
Anyone care to join me?
Cyc Oct 29, 2002, 04:02 AM Welcome Shabbaman, so good to see you. Let me take your coat. You can have a Looterzale here in the Sitting Room or go directly into the Dining Room. I presume you've seen the Menu (page 2) that lists all the sides on the table. Tonight I would recommend the Onion Soup with the fresh rolls. But take and try your pick. I'll go grill up a tender and succulent Filet Mignon. Is a Looterzale what you'd like or is there another kind of beer you'd prefer more?
Shabbaman Oct 29, 2002, 04:32 AM I'll go wit the onion soup, but I'd rather have potatoes on the side that bread and rolls. The filet mignon sounds fine.
I'm in for a Looter, but only when it's chilled.
BTW, may I recommend your chef to serve mustard soup with bacon? It's a local specialty, and it's superb. Well, as long as you like mustard of course.
Cyc Oct 29, 2002, 04:56 AM * Cyc brings Octavian X and Shabbaman both a chilled Looterzale in large mugs. Then he returns with Octavian's Strip steak, dark and sizzling, its aroma intoxicating, and sets it in front of him. *
Enjoy m'Lord.
*Cyc then brings in Shabbaman's Filet Mignon. Two and one half inches of mouth-watering prime beef, cut to square and grilled to medium. He places it in front of Shabbaman *
There you go, Sir. One taste of that will make you think of better days. Enjoy.
To both of you Gentleman, here are your Free Ski Tickets. Just present these at the Lodge. You'll be able to pick up all the needed equipment for a full day of skiing. Just outside the Lodge is the sleigh to the mountain top. If you become hungry or thirsty while you are there, plenty of food and drink is available. We even have a St. Bernard with a small keg secured around his neck in case of dire emergencies.
With your meals, you are both entitled to a good soak in the Hot Springs, at no additional charge. Hopefully, you brought some swimwear.
Eat up, Gentleman. Have whatever you wish, and thank you for coming to the Cattleman tonight.
Octavian X Oct 29, 2002, 06:06 PM Thank you, Master Cyc, for this excellent meal. After that, I'm not so sure I want to return home...
Which reminds me, I'm looking for someone to cater the upcoming Tourney at the Augusta Palace. Would you be interested?
Cyc Oct 29, 2002, 08:26 PM Yes, Sir Octavian X. We can certianly cater your event. We'd be happy to. Just let us know what you'd like to do and we'll work it out.
If you're not going Home, can I talk you into another meal? :)
Cyc Oct 30, 2002, 12:12 AM OK, let's see. Totals are
Octavian - Dinner and a Looterzale...60g
Shabbaman - Dinner and a free Looterzale...50g
Plexus - 3 lbs. of Bear meat and a stack of beef jerkey...34g
Total ...144g
144g X .8 = 115.2
Deposit = 115.2g (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?postid=567151#post567151)
Octavian X Oct 30, 2002, 12:31 AM I'm sorry, Cyc, but that last steak put me over my food budget. Doughnuts aren't exactly cheap these days...
As to the tournament, as soon as I find a company willing to provide the drink for the festivities, sign-ups will begin. I have already contacted the Rebel Pub and Brewery, and await their response.
Cyc Oct 30, 2002, 01:52 AM That's fine, Sir Octavian X. Before you go, here's a free drink ticket for the next time. And don't forget your free ski day ticket.
Shabbaman Oct 30, 2002, 08:55 AM The dinner was great Cyc! I'll be back for the ski trip soon. Maybe we could organize a RPG ski event in the weekend soon. It'd be nice to have a chance to see each other again, and skiing is a great outdoors entertainment. And we could have a apres ski party in your locale afterward. If we could get someone to drive a chariot down the hill afterwards...
Falcon02 Oct 30, 2002, 10:20 AM SMOKED PENGUIN!!!!
Should I get the Linux User's Group against you?! ;)
I'd boycott you, but I really want Smoked Salmon, and where's the Venison?
Anyway I'll take 2lbs of Smokes Salmon... now all I need is some alfalfa sprouts, and someone to invent the begel and cream cheese and I'll be set for my Salmon begel sandwitch.
Cyc Oct 30, 2002, 11:35 AM Sir Falcon02, here's your 2 lbs. of smoked salmon. That's 4g. The Smokehouse Farms can supply you with Alfalfa Sprouts and Cream Cheese, but you'd probably have to see Sir Plexus about the bagels.
Speaking of which, if you found the Smoked Penguin on post #10 then you should have found the discussion on post #9 about bagels. Vension is on the Menu.
Maybe we could get this Linux Users Group to hold their meetings at the Cattleman. You say they like Penguin? Please don't boycott me, at least I'm not clubbing those cute baby seals like "some places" do.
Come back anytime Sir Falcon02. Remember when you purchase a meal, you get a free Ski Day Ticket. Good Luck with the Elections!
BCLG100 Oct 30, 2002, 02:08 PM okay well i spent for ages preparing my ad and finally came down to this
dun dun duuuuuuuuuun
come join the swimming gala and win it big
http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=35141
see everyone like?
Cyc Oct 30, 2002, 05:06 PM Sounds like a great idea, BCLG100. I hope it turns into a successful event for you. Maybe I'll join later. Maybe some Water Polo. My horse, Lit, loves the water :) j/k. Seriously though, I'll probably join later.
Cyc Oct 30, 2002, 05:10 PM @Shabbaman - Yes, a Mt. Victory Ski Event would be great. The after event party at the Cattleman would be right on target also. I have been planning both, but haven't found the time to put it together. We'll see what happens.
Donovan Zoi Oct 31, 2002, 10:59 AM Good day, Sir Cyc!
I meant to say hello to you at the land auction. However, I went out to stretch my legs for a bit and upon my return found donsig and his entourage were on their way to the hall! With the writing on the wall, I decided to hop on my horse, Intrepid, and head southeast to parts of Fanatika I had never seen before.
Like a vision before my eyes, your wonderful restaurant appeared out of nowhere. Sorry I haven't come sooner....I did not know of its existence.
Well, I now have some money to burn so I will take a Porterhouse dinner and two Riot Beers in rapid succession. It's been a long day.....
Cyc Oct 31, 2002, 03:05 PM Of course, Donovan Zoi. Let me take your coat. Please follow me into the Sitting Room, where I'll get your first Riot Beer, on the house.
I'm very glad you found us. We here at the Bavarian Smokehouse like the seclusion of the Bavarian Forest. I will go prepare your meal. We have pork rinds on the bar, local newspapers to read, or feel free to go inspect the Hot Springs out this door and to the left. As you are ordering dinner, you are entitled to take a relaxing bath before you head out on the road again.
Be right back.
Cyc Oct 31, 2002, 04:14 PM And here's your second Riot Beer, Donovan.
*Cyc places the cold beer at the head of the place settings. This is followed by juicy Porterhouse steak, weighing about a pound and a half. It was grilled whole after it had been marinated in olive oil, basil, rosemary. and garlic. *
Help yourself to any and all of the side dishes and breads on the table. There's aged cheddar, mushrooms, potatoes, and a variety of vegetables. We even have our own tomato-based steak sauce with horse-radish, pepper and lemon. The breads are home made and we even have some delights from the "Bakery of Plexus" . Enjoy.
Donovan Zoi Nov 01, 2002, 01:10 AM Thank you for the bountiful feast, Cyc.....my tastebuds have not beheld such wonders! And were it not for the anticipation of this meal, I may have never removed myself from your soothing springs. I will have to make my way through here again; you are a most generous host.
Alas, Intrepid awaits and we have a long ride back to the capital. I shall take with me 4lbs of salmon to tide me over until my next visit. Thanks again, Sir Cyc, it has truly been a pleasure.
Cyc Nov 01, 2002, 01:40 AM No, the pleasure was all mine, Donovan. I'm glad you had an enjoyable evening. Here's your Smoked Salmon, which is the best in Fanatika. First it's marinated, then hot-smoked over oak chips, partially cooking the fish and infusing it with a deep meaty smokiness. Enjoy.
And here's your Free Ski Day ticket. Just present it at the lodge to get the needed equipment, and you'll be set for a great day at Mt. Victory.
Let's see, that's 50g for the Porterhouse, 10g for the beer, and 8g for the Smoked Salmon. 68g total, sir. I will get your coat. Have a safe journey home.
Plexus Nov 01, 2002, 01:44 AM Sir Cyc, I would like to present you with an assortment of spices from Zimt. These are from my private stash and I think that that some of my spices will serve a better purpose here (rather than sitting in my cellar). Enjoy. :D
Cyc Nov 01, 2002, 02:19 AM Why thank you, Sir Plexus. I shall treasure these. Sara and I will experiment with new signature dishes. In return, please take this cap made of racoon skin. Sara has become quite skilled with a needle and thread, and winter is coming, so you will need to keep your head warm. Consider it a celebration gift too, as your rise in ranks not only in the Goverment, but in the Lines of Nobility. Thank you, again.
Plexus Nov 01, 2002, 02:21 AM Why thank you, Cyc. That really wasn't neccessary. I will treasure this cap forever, good friend.
Farewell!
*plexus puts on his new cap and walks off to Zimt*

Plexus Nov 17, 2002, 02:26 PM Hey Sir Cyc! Haven't been in here in a while. How about a nice New Valhalla strip steak with some mashed potatos, broccoli, and umm... do you serve rabbit as a side? (Roten hasn't had fine dining in a while:)). And a nice Looterzale to wash it all down.
Stuck_as_a_Mac Nov 17, 2002, 03:00 PM Greetings! I will take a Nice Kukaff Broil with some potatoes, one mashed, one baked. Thank you.
Cyc Nov 18, 2002, 01:50 AM Greetings Gentlemen! I'm so glad you could make it. I hope you are making yourselves comfortable in the Sitting Room. Your meals will be served momentarily. BCLG100, sorry, no specials today, but I can give you the extra thick Porterhouse at no additonal charge. If you all would prefer, you can enter the Dining Room and start on the side dishes we have prepared for you. The Aged Cheddar makes a nice pre-meal snack.
Sir Plexus, I'm sure if we let Roten loose in the corral again, he'd find something tasty. Here's your Looterzale.
Stuck, BC? What can I get you to drink?
Cyc Nov 18, 2002, 09:25 AM Gentlemen. * Cyc brings in a large platter with the steaks for all three men. He places each one individually before their owners. *
Ah, good. I can see you've started to make a dent in the side dishes. Here are your steaks, hot off the grill. There's the steak sauce on the table, and I have a fresh batch of mushrooms and onions right here.
Good thing we had a pitcher of water on the table...BC, Stuck... what can I get you to drink. Another Looterzale Sir Plexus? Oh, and by the way, I've thrown Roten a special treat. He should be content for a while. Eat up gentlemen. Of course we have the Hot Springs for your enjoyment, as you well know. Here are your Free "Ski Day" tickets. And let's think about those drinks, eh.
BCLG100 Nov 18, 2002, 02:34 PM i am in the money so instead of my regular coke ill have a LARGE coke dun dun dunnnnnnnnnnnnnnn ;)
Cyc Nov 18, 2002, 04:47 PM Well, OK, BCLG100. If you want to drink rust-remover with your meal, I'll go get you some. I'll make it a large, too. So how'd you fall into some extra gold? Did you cash in your stocks?
Plexus Nov 18, 2002, 04:48 PM Sure, another looterzale sounds great. This steak is delightful, like a slice of heaven... :)
Stuck_as_a_Mac Nov 18, 2002, 04:52 PM Sir Cyc: Riot Beer, *** please
Cyc Nov 18, 2002, 04:54 PM Glad you like it, Sir Plexus. One Looterzale, coming right up! Hey ya know, now that we have BCLG100 here, we should ask him about the Gala. We've been doing all that practicing, but we still don't know when the Gala will be held.

Octavian X Nov 24, 2002, 03:24 PM Thank you for the free meal, Master Cyc. If I am passing through this area again, I will make it a point to dine here once again.
Cyc Dec 04, 2002, 01:57 AM I would like to personally thank everyone who was able to come up and enjoy a meal here at the Cattleman Smokehouse. It was my pleasure to serve you.
The Cattleman Smokehouse is now merging into the Cyc Corporation and will be undergoing some changes. Because of this, we will be shutting down temporarily for construction of new Castle. This new Castle will house the rebirth of the Cattleman, which will be a Grand Hall that includes a Theatre.
Donovan Zoi, our Restaurant Manager, has been promoted to Vice President of Entertainment Operations. He will be the driving factor behind this new development in our business, and I look forward to his input. We shall soon see new Productions that will entertain the Fanatikan public as they dine on the finest foods.
But first, as I said, we need to shut down, so we can rise up again in our new Castle with our new name. Stay tuned...
Shaitan Dec 04, 2002, 03:45 AM Will you be reopened by Friday? I need some banquet catering for the final day of the High Games.
Donovan Zoi Dec 04, 2002, 11:16 AM Lord Shaitan, as we have nothing to do with all this extra food during our construction, we would be delighted to cater the High Games. Any special requests?
Shaitan Dec 04, 2002, 11:19 AM A decent mix of fowl, pork and beef would be superb. I expect roughly a dozen competitors but will get you a solid figure before the banquet.
Octavian X Dec 04, 2002, 09:10 PM And I had just stopped by for some steak. 'Tis a shame.
Lord Cyc, I will be staying in a spare bedroom of the Presidential Palace this week, eagerly awaiting the reopening of my favorite retaurant!
donsig Dec 05, 2002, 12:54 AM Figures. I drop by and the joint is closed. :(
