It happened once before that he disappeared for a couple of months. Hopefully everything is alright with him and he'll be back soon.:)

Hey, he is the "ever-present taskmaster". So, he's not really gone!

People tend to go away without a goodbye if they plan on returning eventually. I did for a few years, and now am sort of back.

I've noticed that a lot of people have been disapearing from the civ 3 side of Fanatics lately. Not sure if it's caused by civ 4, Civ Rev, the mysterious Life, Spore, or a combo of all four.

It must be the fabulous Civ 4 graphics that are pulling them away!

Civ IV graphics are gross. They take up huge resources without an appreciable gain.

I know he said he got Galactic Civilizations II, and I can tell you, that is one addicting game.

That's why I haven't finished up my mod, I think.

 Is that why we haven't heard anything about it in so long?

True, I played it for some time and was addicted, until I noticed the massive game-breaking bugs that are overly abundant. If you think Civ3 has annoying AI bugs, GC2 makes Civ3 bugs look like wonderful features. The latest patch was so broken, large maps are unplayable, so players are forced to play medium or smaller maps to avoid the bugs-o-plenty. Of course this was for ToA, in which the bugs were introduced into the game.

:mischief: Maybe. I can say all conceptual work has been finished, I just need to get down to the nitty-gritty and finish a few things.

@Tom: Not to be too OT, but I found the ship customization my favorite feature of that game. I could spend hours just making new ship classes with all the different components.

Yea, I'm not trying to complain :) The 3rd installment of GC will definitely be one to keep an eye out for.

SOG used to start threads about people who were missing for a week; Stormrage has been away from a lot of months, so it is a valid question ;)
