Since football was washed out by sandbox, let's try basketball!

Anybody interested in a fantasy league?

I don't follow basketball QUITE as closely as baseball but I should still be able to offer up some competition :D

I don't follow it that closely either, but am interested in playing.

It will be an interesting year, especially with a few moves in the East, trying to keep up with the Lake(r) Show.

Don't look at me. I used to do fantasy basketball back when the Bulls were good and I took a higher interest in the rest of the league. Now, we just get together, watch the Bulls lose, and get drunk ;)

Ming, my team is now 2-1 in football, and I saw the BB score in the poly league, I may end up losing that league.

The last I heard Sandbox will not do hoops this year. We could do Yahoo.

I'd actually prefer Yahoo! since I've got six other leagues of various games there.

I contacted sandbox about it. We'll see what they say :)

And sandbox is better than yahoo :p

In that case, it will be Yahoo, I'll set it up this week.

We will have to do a one day live draft, I'm thinking the afternoon on a saturday, that way everybody should be availiable for a live draft.

Sundays are OUT, as are weekdays, I work, I can't do a draft while working, and Sunday is football day.

I've go no problems with a Saturday draft, just need some notice so I can distract the wife long enough.

When they open it, I plan on a 1300 EST if I can, so it won't wipe out anybody from Europe by being to late.

I registered, and although I can't probably make it to the drafting because of a birthday party of one of my best friends after that basketball game I told about, I'll just let the computer pick. It says I can put in which players I'd like most...so

I had Pierce ahead of Shaq in this format. The wierd one for me was Walker. Lousy FG% and high TO. I put him 2nd round.

Shaq is a 30 point scorer who rebounds and shot blocks, I would never pass on him, just plain crazy.

I just need yao ming to perform and I'll have it all pretty much covered. If he busts, i'm a sitting duck.

eergh...I got 3 players injured, one of them I dropped in time (Mourning, not even a single game for him this season), but now Reggie Miller and some other guy are injured as well....had to swap positions between players a lot to get one on every position.
