I rediscovered the original scorched earth again today. I forgot how awesome it really was. My brothers and I must've played it for hours. My dad said for him it totaled days. They really had some great games back then.

My favorite moment was when my brother was about to take out me and about 4 computers out with a Death Head. But, he forgot to check his power and it disappeared into the concrete wall.

I remember there were two versions of it. I vaguely remember the differences (interface?). There's a new 3D version of it, too.

3d version is pretty cool.

I prefer the 2d Atomic Cannon, however.;)

ah, high school memories of playing this on their 486s with windows 3.11. Good times. :D
