Im a little new to modding BTS.

I have searched three sites and am looking to see if I can make a really huge custom map.

(Larger than the game shipped with)

Is it possible and if so, could someone please point me where the information is on how to change the parameters?

(I am looking to say take Great Plains but much bigger than the largest shipped version, and say make me my own Island of continent Fortress, isolated from the mainland.

Maybe make 15 or so AI vs me

Thanks for any feedback!

Just sharing, I have read many many threads but was unable to find an answer.

Thanks so much for the help!

Shouldn't be a problem, just change the parameters in the Civ4WorldInfos.xml.

I am running VIsta, AMD 64 Bit X2 Dual Core 5200 Processor + 2.60 Ghz

4 Gigs RAM

NVIDIA GeFoRCE 7950 GT Graphics

I guess my question about Playable was map at Giant is 32 WIDE X 20 HEIGHT, could I go 200 X 100 or is that too big of a jump?

I really appreciate the help!

Check out MapView. It's a nifty program that will easily allow you to create maps of any practical size.

As for your size question, the Giant Earth Map is about 220x100, so I don't think what you described will be a problem.
