Has anyone here played Battlefield 1943? It is a download only, multiplayer only title on the PS3 and 360. Best of all it only costs $15.
I got it a few days ago and it is one of the best games that I played on my PS3 in a long time.

Yeah i bought it of PSN the other day, buckets of fun indeed. Haven't played it for a few days though. But Killzone 2 is still my number one game for that online fps fix.

Ah, you've noticed. I read a review which sums up 1943 as not better than 1942 (maps seem virtually the same - only less!), but still a must have at that price... Since BF 1942 has a lot of (still active) mods I don't know if it's really worth the money.;)

If I had a good enough computer I would hunt down a copy of 1942, but 1943 is a fun substitute.

Meh. I'll wait til the PC version comes out. Still, battlefield 2142 has lasted me a long time, and its not slowing down.

Hunt down? It's widely available. (And way better: as said, there are plenty of active mods for it, plus 2 official expansions.) But I'm glad you enjoy BF 1943.

Well yeah, most retailers don't sell it anymore. At least my local ones don't.
