Hi!

Each download file includes a Download button; after downloading, a file usually needs unzipping (using Winzip, Winrar, 7-zip). Mods are usually to be placed in Civ4\BtS\Mods folder, though there are exceptions (most mods mention this on their Download Page).

BTW, questions are to be posted in the general Civ4 subforum, not Creation & Customization.

Try a mod that uses an installer. Legends of Revolution is in my sig. There are many others that do as well. Mars Now, Planetfall, and Fall From Heaven 2 all do, and are all great mods (though I'm not sure if Mars Now is entirely stable yet).
