Which one is it usually for you?
Recently I've been playing an 18 civ pangea map and I'm constantly crapping myself when Ballista elephants come on the horizon :cry:

I curse whenever I spawn near Shaka. The 3 others are semi-containable but Shaka is a REXing monster.

I started a game on Noble the other day playing continents, standard, 7 civs, first person I meet up with was Cyrus and I was able to land lock him as he was on a peninsula and eventually take him out. So it's me and Shaka alone on the continent, right? He takes up about 2/3 of the land on the continent. Thank God I expanded quicker or he probably would have had 3/4 or more of the continent. Curse you, Shaka.

Yup those ikkhanda are very nice, shaving off maintenance pre-CoL.

Seriously, though... I love those Keishks, and them Phalanxs are nice to harrass neighbors within 50 turns too.

Hmm I love Keshiks as well but I hate it when enemies use them against me. One second, Genghis Khan DoWs you and the next, you've lost 2 border cities and access to any metal whatsoever.

I'm thoroughly surprised prats haven't come up yet

Sucks when your attack stack gets to it's target and the next turn all the defending archers turn to Longbows. :mad:

Now that's the truth. I can hold my cool even in the face of a large stack if they aren't getting the collateral damage at the start. But when the enemy has siege equipment, I might start losing territory.

Fast Worker.

Things start twitching when I see Preatorians or Catapults.

War elephants.

Although in the last game I said it when I got six Horse Archers spawn next to my only supply of copper which being mined by my only city that wasn't protected by the Great Wall. That didn't work out too well for me.

I thought everything was protected by the Great Wall, irrespective of the graphic...

It does, even if they were built after the Great Wall.
