Blue Monkey Jul 19, 2009, 12:42 AM A very nice set. Too much that's wonderful to post individual comments on, so I'll just say that it's cool to see a grenadier lob a grenade.
Steph Jul 19, 2009, 02:02 AM Very nice! I did not test it in game, but the artillery run and attack seems to be much better now, with proper looping :goodjob:
Will you remake your Napoleonic artillery to this standard?
Also, I'm almost finished with infantry and cavalry for the Napoleonic mod. I'll need artillery soon :).
Some missing pedia icons for
- Generic Italian arquebusier
- Neapolitan dragoon 18th
- Savoia artillery 18c
- Savoia dragoon 18c (the large icon is the same as the small)
- Venetian militia pikeman
- Venetian musketeer
Steph Jul 19, 2009, 02:07 AM Very nice, but I have one complain. You did too many units, I can't put them all in my mods, and now I have the difficult task to choose between several units!!!
I wonder if I could not use the Venetian for Hellas in my mod. Greece was not independant, but Venetia retained the control of several islands and part of the Adriatic coast for a long time.
Why did you create two posts? Wouldn't it be better to merge them?
imperator1961 Jul 19, 2009, 03:44 AM Very nice! I did not test it in game, but the artillery run and attack seems to be much better now, with proper looping :goodjob:

Yes, the new art attack and run are the test for the napoleonic units. Now I'm going to remade my Nap artillery units (French Foot and British Horse) and I add French Horse, British Foot and maybe British Rocket Team to the my next unit pack. After this I'planning an Asian pack ad after this others Napoleonic Artillery units.;)
Steph Jul 19, 2009, 03:49 AM Didn't you forget to include the Papal units in your packs?
Also, check the other thread for missing pedia icons.

I create two post because I cannot upload more than 30 images for thread. If there is the option to merge the two threads into one for me it would be better.:)
I think that your idea to use the Venetian units for Hellas is brilliant. Not only the fact that part of Greece was under control of Venice, but also there arent' much informations about Greece uniforms about the 17th-18th C. (Almost I dont'have more information/images/pics;) ).

The limit is not 30 images / thread, it's 30 images / post!
So just create one threads with 2 posts!
I merged them for you.

Sorry Steph! My mistake. Thanks:)
Oh, and I have added in second post the Papal States units folder.
Virote_Considon Jul 19, 2009, 07:53 AM All of them are excellent in my opinion :goodjob:
Kyriakos Jul 19, 2009, 08:07 AM Very nice work Imperator :)

Thnaks, don't forget the missing pedia icons ;)
TopGun Jul 19, 2009, 10:47 PM With these units, you attained a new level of quality! Bien fatti! :)
I can tell that they were a labor of love.
Grandraem Jul 20, 2009, 07:53 AM The detail in these units is amazing. Fantastic job.:goodjob::)
imperator1961 Jul 20, 2009, 09:11 AM I have uploaded as a .rar attachment in the first post the missed PediaIcons.
- Generic Italian arquebusier
- Neapolitan dragoon 18th
- Savoia artillery 18c
- Savoia dragoon 18c
- Venetian militia pikeman
- Venetian musketeer
Mithadan Jul 20, 2009, 10:50 AM Woo hoo, party on! :band:
Steph Jul 20, 2009, 11:02 AM Thanks for the icons, but the Venetia musketeer is still missing
What country is next on your list?
Blue Monkey Jul 20, 2009, 02:42 PM I keep an eye on your threads. Many of your great units - especially the ones from the more forgotten civs or the ones in unusual uniforms - are useful in some of the steampunk scenarios. For example, in one alternate timeline that we're considering the Doge holds the importance that the Pope does in our own history. That makes the Venetian Musketeer a great unit to see.
I add ... Rocket Team to the my next unit pack. After this I'planning an Asian pack ad after this others Napoleonic Artillery units.;)An Indian rocket team in Mughal style clothes would be great, since the British stole the concept from them. :please:
imperator1961 Jul 21, 2009, 05:00 AM Thanks to all for the comments. This pack is huge and it takes much time to do, but the final result is satisfiing for me. The next pack would be a Nap Artillery pack with French horse and foot Art and British horse, foot and rocket Art. Next I would made an Asian pack (Blu Monkey and Shirokobbure request) and after these another Nap Artillery pack. As for my preferred historical period (mid 16th C - mid 18th C) I would made the Germans.;)
Steph Jul 21, 2009, 05:09 AM Don't forget the Venetian musketeer pediaicons ;)
imperator1961 Jul 21, 2009, 06:52 AM Don't forget the Venetian musketeer pediaicons ;)
In the first post I have attached a new .rar file with all the missed Pedia, including the last (I hope!): Venetian Musketeer 17th C.:)
Steph Jul 21, 2009, 09:50 AM Thanks, it's there!
Steph Jul 21, 2009, 09:56 AM A question.
In my mod I have the following time period:
- Renaissance (1500-1600)
- 16th century (up to 1640)
- 17th century (1640-1720)
- Early 18th century (1720-1760)
- Late 18th century (1760-1790)
As I don't have that many units available, even with your pack, I'm considering unit different "civ" for different time.
For instance, use Naples in 1760-1790, Papal States in 1720-1760 and savoy for 1640-1720.
What "civ" would you suggest for each period?

Difficult question. I think you can choose the concept of most powerful state for each of your period. I.E. the most powerful state in 1640-1720 period was the Papal States, in 1720-1760 Savoy and 1760 -1790 Naples.
Steph Jul 23, 2009, 07:46 AM Ok, thanks
Ozymandias Aug 07, 2009, 10:34 PM Somebody's been busy :goodjob: Superbo.
