Note all I am looking for is a link and a name.

I am looking for a new game, I want it to be not necessarily civ like but a strategy game with a god view basically. But a simple requirement a decent unit system, decent AI but I would like a expanded diplomacy system being able to create something NATO or other large multi-civ alliances. The basis for the game can be anything sci-fi, modern, fantasy, etc

Im not so sure that Paradox games are what hes going to be looking for.....I think his head might explode...

Dunno about the alliances bit cause it never seems to work for me, but there's always the Total War series?
