I am playing in a LAN game and sad to say as to my current status, my civilization (Ethiopia) is technologically inept and I think my military is not doing so well... I declared at war with my only neighbor, Augustus Caesar, and I've razed only one of his city, the rest are full of archers and therefore cannot continue the war, worst, Frederick declared a war on me.
I am building mines and cottages and I am churning out axemens and catapults to wipe out the Romans from the face of the world, but my score seems to be getting lower and lower for whipping more axeman, having 2nd to the lowest score, am I doing it wrong? (the worst was Augustus)

Depends, is this multiplayer? Or single player. I assume single.
Anyway, unless you're playing Noble level, your score is normally lower thorough the first half of the game vs the AI's. (The higher the level, the longer it takes to catch up.)
Of course, if you aren't top score by the AD's and you're playing Noble or lower, you could read a couple of strategy articles on this forum regarding the beginning of the game.
If it's a multiplayer game, you just need to be faster than your next-door neighbor in general. Always have an army ready. Hopefully you have 3 cities and an army by 1000BC.
P.S. Man, your forum name is weird.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will do read some tips lurking around here. :)
As for having an army, I do have armies. Only 4 axemen that pillaged Augustus' cities, which I fear did not become that successful, he trained Praetorians after I declared peace on him. And yes, I was playing on multiplayer LAN game with my father.
P.S. How come you do not know Urbiztondo when you're from Philippines? :p

armies are usually at least 10 units+ (at the smallest) ... if possable with a couple of different defenders ... and loads of Siege (if you think you have enough siege, build a couple more) when it becomes possable
