I figure, regular Civ 4 BTS has one, so why not LoR? And so, I began to work. Now, I'm not what you'd call an expert senario maker, so you're all going to have to bare with me. I don't have a final civilization list, but here's a list of civs I've already put in their positions:

1. Byzantine Empire
2. Holy Roman Empire
3. Kingdom of France
4. Anglo-Saxon Kingdom of England
5. Kingdom of Norway
6. Kingdom of Scotland
7. Gaelic Ireland
8. Caliphate of Cordoba
9. Kingdom of Hungary
10. Dukedom of Poland (A little early, I know, but I decided to include it anyway, as a vassal of HR)
11. Kingdom of Leon
12. Fatimid Caliphate
13.

Any suggestions would be helpful. Oh, also, I'm probibly going to need to change the flags for this senario, if that's possible. The Kingdom of France with the Tricolore and a Holy Rome with the German Confederation Flag isn't what I'd call historically correct.

Should be able to change the Flags in the ArtDefines_civilizations. Whichever line points to something like Interface/TeamColor/FlagDecal_XXXXXX will be what your looking for.

You don't even need to do that :)

The WBS allows you to define the flags, artstyle, and playercolor for the scenario itself.

Alright, thanks guys. Like I said, I'm still getting used to all of this so I'm a little inexperienced. Anyway, the map seems to be comming along quite nicely. Europe is almost done. Right now, I'm looking for maps so I know where to put cities.

Really? Ill have to look into this scenario stuff. Ive always wanted to redo the Mongol and Alexander scenarios from Warlords, the American Revolution fro vanilla, and make one from scratch to recreate Julius conquest of Gaul and rise to Ceasar.

Yeah, open up the WBS for the World War Wolf Scenario I just fixed, just cruise through it. Alot of the player and team stuff is softcoded in the WBS itself.

So far, so good, I suppose. I've gotten most of Europe done, and I think I've done a good job so far. However, I'm a little unsure of the city placements for Kiev Rus, so once I put the senario up, someone can probibly correct it.

I've also had to edit the map a bit, in order to accomiate Ireland and Scotland. I'm starting on the Middle East now, and working my way to Asia. Then, I'll just place the three American civs and I'll upload the senario for a little play testing.

@Lean

you also need:

the Seljuq Empire (Iraq, Persia, Uzbekistan, parts of Syria)
the Ghaznawid Kingdom (Afghanistan, Northern India)
the Almoravids in Morocco and Western Africa (later expanding to Spain)
perhaps the Danish-Anglosaxon Realm, stretching from Norwich, Denmark to whole England)
What about the Vikings in the Mediterranean, in South Italy, Sicily and Northern Syria? In fact you could have a whole Danish empire, incorporating the Northern territories as well as the Mediterranean ones, which would be prone to breaking away soon enough.

The Great Seljuq Empire did not come into play until 1037, so.
The Ghaznavid Kingdom, which in this time, ruled all of Persia and Afghanistan, I am working on. (I wanted to finish up Europe before anything else)
Once more, the Almoravids existed from 1040 until 1147, thus not comming into play here.
According to this map(link here (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/cc/Europe_1000.jpg)) the Vikings did not yet controll England (They conquered it in 1013 or so) and so only have Denmark, Norway, and Iceland.
And, according to the map of Europe in AD 1000, the Byzantines still controlled Southern Italy (The Theme of Lombardy and the Theme of Calabria) and the Fatimids, Sicily. As for Syria, it was, at the time, firmly under Fatimid controll.

Bad news guys: When I opned the save today to work on the senario, some cities weren't there! Like, it said, for example, Salzburg, but it only had the name and population growth, no buildings, no nothing. This has occured for most of the civlizations. Also, the Ottoman Swordsman unit is just a pink outline of a swordsmen. I think I might have to start the whole thing over guys..

Lean, try using the debug dll when you load your scenario, it should direct you to any problems it is having when loading the scenario.

LoR 0.9.6 Debug dll (http://www.filefront.com/14197091/debug-dll.zip/)

Also just ignore the first assert says ignore this, and the other assert in CvCity line 10,000 something that relates to religion. Any other asserts though would be things you should need to fix. Feel free to ask if you have any question about the asserts, but generally it's pretty good about telling you things, like it'll state missing strings and what not. Using a debug dll was invaluable to me when updating the World War Wolf scenario so that it works with the updated version of LoR.

Would this be a problem?

Assert Failed

File: CvPlot.cpp
Line: 4299
Expression: eRiverDir == CARDINALDIRECTION_WEST || eRiverDir == CARDINALDIRECTION_EAST || eRiverDir == NO_CARDINALDIRECTION
Message: invalid parameter

Oh, and I also started up my Earth Map, which I need to make changes to, and the cities appear there, but not in my AD 1000.

That error I always get from Rhye's map Earth Map, I think there is something wrong with one of the rivers direction of flow, but it's not an issue no, and would be too hard to locate. Mostly you need to look for bad strings from loaded civs, like incorrect artstyles and units that don't exist, that sort of thing.

Ah, alright. I'll continue to look, and if not, I'll just start over, no big deal. Besides, it'll give me more time to hone my skills.
