The_J Aug 03, 2009, 04:05 PM The question is: Why should you not ;)? Here (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=327934) is a thread, where we've talked a bit about music, and Tholish has supported some links, where you could look for free + legal music. Moogi Sep 13, 2009, 10:11 AM I've got a lot of music saved on my computer that I think would work well for the mod. I can email a few of them to you, cfkane, if you'd like. Most of them come from other video games (I'm a huge fan of game music). I also thought that the main theme from the game 'Super Smash Bros Brawl' would make a good main menu theme for this mod, if that's possible to change. It fits for two reasons. Firstly, the game it comes from is itself a large-scale crossover. More importantly, the lyrics fit the premise of the mod very well. While in Latin, the lyrics translate to: I’ve heard legends of that person How he plunged into enemy territory How he saved his homeland I’ve heard legends of that person How he traveled the breadth of the land reducing all he touched to rubble. I’ve heard legends of that person I’ve heard legends of that person Revered by many -- I, too, revere him Feared by many -- I, too, fear him Now that person Stands at my side Now that person stands at my side Now my friends are with me Some of them were once heroes Some, my mortal enemies And as we face each other in battle, locked in combat We shine ever brighter Nicely thematic, eh? You can hear the song here: http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/music/music10.html Dumanios Nov 10, 2009, 04:47 PM :bump: Cfkane, may I use some of your diplomusic in my mod?I'm planning on using Besstrashniy's diplomusic for Stalin's middle diplomusic. cfkane Nov 10, 2009, 05:21 PM Sure. Moogi Nov 12, 2009, 06:51 PM Are there any leaders that are missing music? I've got a ****load of music on my computer that I can send you for use in the mod. cfkane Nov 12, 2009, 08:18 PM A lot of the leaders currently use Firaxis music. You can see the ones that don't just by looking in the Assets\Sounds\Diplomacy folder. If a leader isn't listed and if you think you have a good piece for it, by all means send me the file. Dumanios Jan 01, 2010, 08:12 PM Music idea time! Ryan: Firaxis's works here. Aztec Dude: Possibly Mesoamerican music from C3C Jaffe Joffar: In extra, Haile Selassie's late era music will work, as they were both wealthy, ran African countries where the people were poor, and had good relations with the USA) Oz: The Civ3 opening theme. Vathek: The Arabian Song from Crossroads Haroun: Sally's Middle song would work better in my opinion. Rama: The opening theme of AOE3:Asian Dynasties KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!!!!!: Something from Wrath of Khan Hitler Hynkel: The music from the scene where Indiana Jones is in Berlin during Last Crusade "It's good to be the king": Possibly music from his film. Dumanios Mar 04, 2010, 02:23 PM Here is some music for the American Leaders. Jack Ryan first has a rendition of the Battle Hymn with the Banjo, then has the intro for US missions 2,4 and 6 from Empire Earth 2. Then he has the intro for US missions 7 and 8, also from EE2. For Jed Bartlett, I used Reagan's Early and Middle music from Wolfrevolution, then stayed with the default for the late music. For Nehemiah Scudder, I gave him alaric's middle from cybrxhan's medieval music pack, then gave him Phillipe_middle from cybrxhan's second European music pack. Then I stayed with the default for the late music. http://www.telefragged.com/files/84309/us-music-for-fictionalization cfkane Mar 04, 2010, 05:07 PM Actually, I changed Ryan's on my own. And I'm not going to use different music for each era. Dumanios Mar 04, 2010, 06:41 PM Okay. I will privately. Here is Huitzilopochtli's music. Comes with two musics from Conquests. http://www.telefragged.com/files/84320/music-for-huit-whatever-it-is Farsight Apr 12, 2010, 08:44 PM I'm not familiar with Aquaman, but I personally think "Aquarium" from Camille Saint-Saens' Carnival des Animaux would fit for an Atlantean leader. Harun al-Rashid's music should also be something more "Arabian Night" ish. Gandis Apr 26, 2010, 05:42 AM Dracula - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTVraVgzC9U Also a great medieval soundtrack. Ice Queen - http://www.noxarcana.com/xmusic/03WintersKnight/03Ebonshire.mp3 Harun al-Rashid (or any arabian) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQX5RVmTVT4 (The name - Slumbly it by Fairuz) The Fairy Queen (forgot her name) or general soundtrack - http://www.noxarcana.com/xmusic/09GrimmTales/16LabyrinthofDreams.mp3 A general soundtrack - http://www.noxarcana.com/xmusic/12WintersEve/16WindsOfChange.mp3 If you want I can get you the YouTube links as a mp3 files (legally) |
