well, the problem here was that the polls were closed and as such down below the pile. also many people already voted and the index was not updated.
they needed upping somehow.
but stickyness is unnecessary, just subscribe to the index :-)

also, our PR office should start having obsolete polls thread-closed :-)
this way much more room for unclosed threads on the first page would be there.

Yeah, but some people like me get hundreds of spam mail in their mail box, and it can be missed... :)

Well, so use the "unread post" marker.
I usually go to the forum and then go to the poll-threads which are marked.
Though the forum outages lately spoiled this for me a bit.

You could of course put the mails in another folder of your mailbox.
And of course you see the forum seperately in your usercp when something changed.
