View Full Version : Office of Public Relations Approval
Octavian X Sep 30, 2002, 03:21 PM The Office of Public Relations has been established. I have appointed the following people to the office:
Bill_in_PDX - Director
Great Iguanaman - Assistant Director
Cyc - Poll Statistician/Analyst
This poll requires 10 votes to validate the appointment.

Octavian X Oct 01, 2002, 10:05 PM This isn't under my control anymore, but congrats to the newly approved members of the OPR!

Strider Oct 04, 2002, 09:23 PM What's up with the two bumps?
Also congrats..... You guys deserve it!
Bill_in_PDX Oct 04, 2002, 09:36 PM This poll has not reached quorum yet.
bumps are one way to keep it near the top of the list until it does.
Bill_in_PDX Oct 05, 2002, 02:13 PM Just need three more people to vote either way or abstain
Cyc Oct 06, 2002, 01:46 AM Come Ooonnnn, people! Just one more vote.
Great Iguanaman Oct 06, 2002, 03:45 PM I think i speak for everyone when i say VOTE VOTE VOTE VOTE VOTE
The Great Iguanaman
Cyc Oct 06, 2002, 10:32 PM Right On! 19 votes! As a newly approved member of the OPR, the first thing I would like to do is declare this poll illegal! :) I'm just kidding. CYA, gotta lotta work to do...
Octavian X Oct 06, 2002, 10:53 PM I thought I noted that the poll required half the quroum for approval. I specifically put that in the rules...
As long as your finally getting started, good luck!
Cyc Oct 07, 2002, 10:09 AM I understand, Octavian X. But the former COJ says one thing, then the power shifts and the current COJ says another thing. We should of had a standard or law posted here to clarify the issue. Regardless, I can't post any work until our new office is constructed.
Bill_in_PDX Oct 07, 2002, 11:26 AM I felt that the poll would be best served by meeting the full quorum rules.
There is already such a backlash at the quorum concept from some folks that I didn't want to skirt the rule.
OH, and this poll has passed.
Bill
Chief Justice
Director of Public Relations
